The NHL world has held a Teemu Selane retirement watch in every off season since 2007. I think HAki is just dot gif ing his happiness. So Teemu; who is one of the more popular players around the league, has one more season left.

I like it.

A few pages back,...I was going off on how much you all bitches aren't doing it right with regards to George L's.

A few nights my new amp started to fart out. I was struggling to trouble shoot the issues. I thought the input section of the amp had crapped out. Then I lightly kicked my Shiva and got a full signal. Then I was about to get pissed that the Shiva had failed. Then I thought it was the Boss SD-2. I've gone through the first too pedals in my signal chain, pulled out each one individually and ran them to see if the were functioning, no problem. Plugged them to together to check the cables. The output from the Shiva to the SD-2 was fine. The tiny one I made to jump for the SD-2 to the OC-2 was the culprit.

I don't know if I need to attribute that to wear and tear,....shoddy build on my end or what,...but I'm a little on alert with the George L's, perhaps considering making my own soldered cables.

yahp. that's how i always have either solderless PIECE OF SHIT DESIGN cables or ones that i wired sloppily fuck up on me. they either cut in and out where if i step on a pedal i think that the footswitch is bad, but it's the slight motion of the jack or they start to send a shitty version of my signal on that goes full when you tap the cable into a better connection.

i've been relatively stable with my board for a good long bit. Jean recommended a guy that builds cables and ships them quickly that he likes, it's only about a $1 more per foot than i pay for the components to do them myself. and i kinda suck at soldering. i'm measuring out my needs this weekend and placing an order. WOOOOOOOO.

Correct. I was a little torn after he faded out last season but I'm blaming it on crappy line mates. Looks like he'll play with either Palmieri or Silfverberg (acquired in the Bobby Ryan trade, supposed to be a solid two-way player with a hell of a wrister), the problem is that there's still no center. Should've signed Grabo for 3m, especially with Teemu taking a pay-cut at 2m this year and Souray on LTIR.

Now I'm considering going to the last home game of the regular season, though if they make the play-offs that might not mean that much.

Think jwar was having similar issues not too long ago. I'm still ok with the Lava kit, though now that my setup is slightly more stable I might just go soldered and be done with it.

MAN...thinking about selling a few pedals for a B7K. The B3K was awesome when I had a bass with a 4 band active EQ on board, I would crank my low and high mids and my tone was beautiful, really out front and aggressive yet it sat in a mix with 2 guitars really well.
B3K didn't work as well with my DInger, so for awhile I had a MXR 10 band eq and then one of those mid boost pedals, but pedals that take another pedal to work right usually don't last long with me. SO now I am missing those toanz that I used to get w/active bass and B3K, so I am thinking B7K because the Dingwall stays no matter what. If I did do this I would be down to OC2, BSY600, Dirge built/JWAR etched Black Acid clone, PitchFactor, ModFactor and B7K, pretty solid options for the amount of pedals. Plus the DI on B7K could be handy for home recording (live-mic my shit!).

Yeah but I also have Dingwall AB1, Orange AD200B, Avatar Neo 2-12, 2 Moogs, 2 drum machines, OTO Biscuit, Maschine, Ableton Live 9 Suite, Misa Digital Tri-Bass pre-ordered, Roland midi keys controller, crappy Ampeg Practice Amp, 1000 watt PA, Acoustic Guitar, Baritone Uke, conga drum.

Definitely first world baby :!!!:

Agreed!

Deltz, I love you, but I can't sell you my B7K. Hahaha. I've gone though too many of those bastards and I'm going to hang onto it. Actually, for me, I've slowed down a LOT on flipping. Weird right? I am finally finding the tones and sounds I wanted. Who would have known that changing to a Roscoe bass would make me so much happier with all my pedals? Not me, but fuck it did. Then I got an MTD on the way and may or may not flip my Roscoe for a custom Roscoe. :) :( LOL That Burl top is fucking calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was having issues with the George L's but it's mostly because I'm lazy. I didn't want to take the time to pull out a multimeter and make sure shit was perfect. So I bought the soldered guys on Mammoth (they are fucking cheaper than making your own), and they are working great for me so far! Both are good, but I wasn't wanting to fuck with the solderless anymore.

I also just got a Infanem Improbability Drive (demo in the process of uploading), and fucking LOVE it.

So I was perusing CKS' facebook and this pic showed up with the text;
Gotta say . . . this was awesome and potentially fruitful. String experiments commencing . . . .

I don't know who the folks pictured are but If you are a Dingwall Fan; I'd keep my eyes peeled.

Oh and someone is rocking a Utilikilt.

I think the bald dude is Nolly Getgood or whatever the fuck his name is from Periphery. I heard Dingwall is working on new strings too.

The fella in the kilt must be Skip, who is involved with CKS somehow. Owner I'm 99% sure.
