I thought about buying a Dingwall, thought about buying an MTD. Didn't have enough cash for the MTD right now.
While I was leaning towards the Dingwall, I started to think about how fucking annoying it was to buy strings strictly online, and the fact that there aren't that many dealers that even carry their strings. Plus it was SOOOO hard to switch back to a normal fret system.
The only, only reason I decided to sell my bass, was the guy that is buying it offered 300 bucks more than I paid (awesome) and was willing to gift it and assume all the risk (it's going to Ireland). He's an awesome dude, and I hope the bass arrives minty with no issues. I fucking LOVED that bass.
I decide to give a 5 string a go again though and to move a step up in the Roscoe world.
I'm planning on slowly upgrading until I get what I want.

Played one of the 800 watt Ampeg Portaflexes today. Pretty dang cool.
I really dig the breakup with the gain cranked. Quite surprising.

An 800 watt tube amp would be pretty impressive. It would also probably weigh 500 pounds.
