Man, I wouldn't want to give up PitchFactor as a standalone pedal which I would have to do to afford the H9...got me thinking though.

I actually just paid a sub myself, had to sell an amp head.

It's always just funny to see certain forum members at different forums.

I can't stand the idea of paying to be able to sell gear. Especially when the forum itself still looks like it is from the 90s. What are they actually doing with the money???

Tom has done such a good job on this place that I look down upon almost every other forum. Really need to donate some here. ILF is worth it.

On a side note...

I jammed with a drummer today (was so fun). Just me on bass and him. The only problem was I couldn't get chords to sound very neat with dirt. Maybe I have bad posture or something. My goal is to avoid going over a three piece, preferably just two. Might have to get a Bass VI to do more chord stuff, but I think my Mustang bass can pull it off. Need to mess with the clean blend on the Elements more. Hard to get it just right. Maybe I need a compressor?

For the first time playing with this guy we had a pretty good musical chemistry. So excited to write some songs and see if we can actually play regularly.

I don't think a bass vi will give you more clarity then the mustang, it will give you more... stuff to play with, which is badass.

nice! new awesome doods are AWESOME.

i don't know what a bass vi is. i get decent chordal stuff out of my bass?

neck pickup is thinnest for me, most guitar'y, but i like both pickups in serial. tasty. MEATY. bump the tone knob up a tad.

MEOW.

I don't think I'm looking for clarity so much as balance across the strings. Like playing a major chord sound very, I don't know, sloppy? It's hard to make out the actual chord.

Just took like 30 minutes to relearn a song I wrote in January and see how it sounds with bass playing both guitar and bass parts. The only challenge is not being able to use a barre chord that goes to a high E. Apparently I do that a lot with guitar, so maybe it would be good to have a Bass VI for that purpose? At the moment I am just playing a root with octave, which sounds fine but not as good.

I suppose if we go the three piece route it won't be an issue. But bass and drums only will require some adjustments.

also, is is just impossible to find a decent trailer under a thousand? we need like half the space of a normal band trailer.

is it silly to look for a frame and have a friend that's tood at word work build one to spec for us?
