Thank you dude! Using tapes to make music is a lot of fun, might be my new favorite thing.

Last jam before moving day. I still have no clue how to effectively ring mod but I love Randy nonetheless.

Do you currently tune the carrier frequency to the tonic of the key you're playing in? Tuning to the 5th or the 6th of the key you're playing in can also work well depending on the chord progression or even what specific notes are being played.
If you have an EHX 8 step program, you can tune each of the steps to a different carrier frequency, and then put it in step-thru mode instead of standard play mode. Then all you have to do is step on the play footswitch at each chord change to advance to the next carrier frequency...in this manner you can have the ring mod turned to specific notes in each chord, and control the harmonies it creates. Sounds super sci-fi if you also set the gliss to a slow sweep when the carrier changes.

HD that is an amazing idea with the 8 step. I mostly use it as a trem but when I use it in Hi mode I've been tuning it to the root of whatever I'm playing. Mostly in B.
Resin the box is my Uverbia spring verb which I need to demo when I finish moving.
