They better damn well be doing a reverb. That would be the shit.

I actually don't mind them either but I wanted "twins". I already have a 09 Danocaster with the regular CBS headstock and I don't think I'd be okay with owning something that's off if I already have one of them. I'll always look at it like an accidental child or something :grumpy: ;) I sort of figured I could put my order through for the Danocaster, grab my own neck from Musikraft and somehow get it "reliced" ever so lightly so it at least looks and feels like the one Danocaster will supply. I know I could go a different route but I REALLY dig his 09 that I have and he's definitely the more reliable for my picky tastes. I want an exact copy (including rhythm circuit) but with a Mastery and a Staytrem just like my other one but with WRHBs instead of Jazzy pups. I've wanted a Blaster for the longest time but I don't think I could live without the rhythm circuit either so it won't be a traditional blaster (if there is such a thing). Hopefully it'll work out as I want it to otherwise I'll be listing a Musikraft neck on 'ere in the future :animal:

Yeah, that would work. However, I'd personally feel cautious about spending big bucks on a guitar when they're not built together. I dunno, I just find it weird how partscasters work. The concept of swapping necks feels... wrong to me, like I'm trading my child's legs with another child's legs. It's all part of the whole picture. Without the frets being made for that guitar or the pickups wired in that hunk of wood, it wouldn't be the same guitar; it wouldn't be whole.

Custom Shop model?

The MIM is a pretty good option, def requires some hardware and electronics upgrades but those '72RI models are super solid in terms of body, neck, fit, finish, playability, all that stuff.

My first guitar was a MIM Tele Custom. I wonder how these compare.
I wanna try it. Mmm.

I played one of those when getting my Squier Tele Custom. My only complaint was the finished neck. At least the one in my guitar shop had that weird Squier orangey thing going on. Otherwise they play pretty nice.

To be honest, I already have a '72 Custom that was crafted in Japan, but I still want that red custom shop one.

Yeah, it's a custom shop model. Just seen it through PGS. They have a demo for it on their YouTube channel.

I want to upgrade my Custom Tele, but I hate putting €300+ into something that you might not keep, ya know? It won't add to the resale value barely at all. I would have five years ago, but not now.

Yeah, it's probably a bad move to go upgrading something you're not positively keeping around. If you do, just make sure and save the old parts and don't do anything irreversible cuz as you mentioned, you'll NEVER get that money back out of it. Better off selling the guitar stock and unloading any hardware or electronics you upgraded separately. :thumb:
