For me it was quite the opposite, I guess it's kind of hard to judge my functionality vs yours because I'll take 4 grams of shrooms and go for a bike ride and I've also just gone shopping for food on 3 tabs of acid so no matter how fucked up I am I can usually hold it together. LSD in my experience is much more visually intense and longer lasting. What was your dose of each?

shit, that sounds like a good time. I've never done acid, actually - just shrooms. Would you agree that shrooms are a bit 'heavier' than acid? I've read conflicting opinions (though obviously you have to take each person's makeup into consideration).

LSD's waaaaay more mellow, for sure. I can be social and interact with the world and people around me on LSD. Last time I did shrooms, I spent five hours trying to build the perfect sand castle. I've seen the pictures. I was useless. It was just a pile of sand with some twigs sticking out of it.

You must be getting some mellow LSD because back when I used to do it (God I feel old putting it that way), it used to fuck me up so bad that I could barely stand. I remember getting lost at a rave one night out in a field. My friend found me laying in the middle of the field and apparently I was talking like a baby. That's just one of many, many, many, many experiences. I have had a LOT of bad trips. God that stuff makes me sick just thinking about it.

Weed is way better for you in terms of drug use.

And as far as shrooms are concerned, I had the complete opposite reaction to it. Mellow compared to acid and didn't last nearly as long.

Haha. I only do 1-1,5 tabs. My GF is a psychonaut, so the stuff we have is pretty damn good if I do say so myself. For shrooms I don't know. I eat what I'm handed, within reason.That might be why I get really fucked up on it.

Shrooms make me neasus, but LSD doesn't. That might be a contributor to the mellowness. On shrooms I'm always on edge, feeling as if I'm about to puke.

I don't like heavy doses of any sort of drug. As long as I'm breaching the threshold, I'm a happy man. I don't get drunk anymore either. Tipsy is my jam.

Innaresting. I've sworn off shrooms - not sure if it's just my makeup or the batch, but I just get really nauseous and end up having a really bad time, waiting for it to pass instead of enjoying myself. That 'on edge' feeling is exactly how I feel on them. I'm interested in trying acid to see if there's a difference, for me. I don't smoke weed either - never got enough out of it to bother.

We're alike like that then. I'm not saying you'd enjoy LSD more, but seeing as we both feel the same about/on shrooms and weed, it might be up your alley (twss).

I'm in the "shrooms more mellow than acid"-camp. I'm pretty functional on both, and it's all about set and setting etc., but shrooms just feel more natural in a way. Less intense. More organic. True bypassed.

crazy visuals.

mushrooms have been the less intense version. for me - anyway.

The nausea thing can totally ruin shrooms. I always make sure to eat a grapefruit before I take it.

I love grapefruit! I'll have to try that. It's too late to start picking shrooms though.

The reason you feel nauseous or even throw up when you eat shrooms is that not all of the mushroom can actually be digested. It's best to eat shrooms on an empty stomach.

Shrooms actually have a really interesting history around here, they were actually originally planted as part of a Government initiative to help break down the wax in pine needles so they would degrade faster and weren't as much of a threat in fire season. This was done on the suggestion of a very cheeky University of Western Australia student (not to suggested that it doesn't work, it does). Ironically the pines were originally planted in the south-west area because we cut everything the fuck down when we first settled and learnt the hard way about soil errosion and the water table rising, especially around some of our dams.

So ever since the 60's every shroom season all the pickers and cops go down south for a couple of weeks for a good old game of cat and mouse. I'm happy for someone else to do the leg work for me haha.

Acid will give you that. Just make sure you're in the right mood for it or honestly don't care what you see. One time dropping two tabs with a friend, I watched a giant skeleton lord saw me to pieces with this crazy conveyor belt full of saws. It was so rad. I usually see much more pleasant shit but I'm way more interested in the darker areas of my brain.

OH and unless you're positive it's actually lsd and not a research chemical, be careful with your doses. It's nigh impossible to OD on lsd (as in like physically dying) but research chemicals can be dangerous. The 25i made my heart race like a motherfucker but gave me some amazing visuals.
