I do like Boss, but I was angry a little bit. Hah! No being an asshole either, at least I didn't take it that way!
Oh and the Ditto is the sex.

does the loop show up as a wav file?
i dunno. i keep meaning to check but always forget. we've got a show Saturday, then we're taking a break for a hinute to work on tightening up what we have and get a few more songs written, so i'm going to do tear down/clean up on my board i've been putting off. i'll try to check it then if somebody else can't before that.

Doesn't really disappoint me because my looper can and that is why I bought it (Boss RC-50).

bleh. i have enough ways to get audio into my computer. played to a click and shit. i wanted the Ditto as a simple tiny little one at a time looper, 's perfect for that.
'm surprised how much fun i'm having with the Source BMW2. two save spots is plenty. but i think i wanna keep one on my main board and one on my at home board.

Your looper also cost five times what mine does. Hah!

I kind of want one as well. But I have so much dirt. Ugh.

For me it is about getting audio out of my computer. I have 3 loops of drums and synths available to me at a time and I can switch back and forth to make Chorus/verse/hook whatever.

so.... it's got a lot of nasty thin digital distortion stuff that i don't have a use for. i need to read the manual and play with the Foldback and Multi Band, try out the HH ring, see if i like those.
but so far the Octave and the Normal Distortion (surprisingly) do things i like.

The Octave is really cool, you can do some cool things with the expression pedal or HH3 where you can go from your original signal (I was about to say clean, but remembered who I was dealing with here) and roll in the Ocatve sound. Combining it with reverb, you get a kind of Octave Reverb swell...now that I think about it I actually did a quick and dirty clip demonstrating...

It's funny, I was a very early adopter of the Pro when it came out, but I hardly use the MW2 version, but I do love it.

I used to use the Foldback for a couple of songs and thought it sounded really cool. I don't know if its the fact that I've changed amps or basses, but when we play those songs I prefer to use a Fuzz now, either the Hoof or something off the OFD distortion pedal (of which I'm anxiously awaiting the final version).

yeah. honestly, i didn't like the BMW at all when i had some time in on it originally. i think i'm not really the target audience for most of the toanz on here. except for a few, it just loses so much oomph at a lot of settings unless the blend is almost all the way CLEAAAAAAAAN.
the octave is good though. sounds really nice being slammed into another fuzz too.
i got no sleep last night (like an hour), today is busy as butts at work, have a half day then a 2 hour drive to a show tomorrow. we're going to stay out there, crash at a friends then head back later Sunday. so i probably won't get to read through the manual and knob fiddle until late Sunday or Monday. need to do a demo for that Outback od too. thing is a BEAST.
