Update!
I got rid of my Boss OC-2 and it fixed my pedal board problems! One pedal was fucking the whole god damn thing! ONE PEDAL!!!! What the fuck!! Stupid Boss and their stupid shitty, shit pedals. Fuck Boss. Their like EHX now. Dead to me. DEAD!!!!!!!!!
I also did some wrist curls and dropped a 50 lbs weight on my fucking Iphone 5 today. Sigh. Thank God I had insurance...that still cost me 169 bucks. Heh 69.
The wrist curls really, really helped! I was able to play my bass without any issues tonight for like 30+ minutes! So happy. Simple solution. I just had to think. I'm a fucking Personal Trainer for God's sake. All it took was using my Corrective Exercise brain to figure out how to fix the problem. Stupid over complicating shit brain.
OH! OH!!!!!! And I got a Ditto today! HOLY FUCK! This thing rules!!! I was sooooooooooooo happy playing with a looper! And it can do like 5 minutes! You gotta be kidding me! So small, and infinite dub overs. Ugh. So sweet. I was getting really good practice with timing using this sucker. I'm in love.

Not sure. It was a MIT. I think it just hated all my other pedals. Boss seems weird like that sometimes.

What issues were you having?
I never had any issues with my OC-2 other than the fact that the 30 year old switch (the internal switch not the treadle) is showing it's age.
Not that it matters now but food for thought:...
Some older BOSS pedals (like pre 1997 I believe) have a wonky powering setup. If you run these ACA powered pedals with a battery you are fine,...but if you try to run it with a 9v powersupply you run into issues. The power supplies these older pedals were designed to use were the 12v ACA unregulated. There is a drop down resistor and a diode circuit that brought the incoming voltage down to 9v.
So if you attempt to power the pedal with a 9v adapter; that drop down circuit really only leaves 6 or 7 volts and the pedal is underpowered.
The solution is to use a 12v powersupply (that's why the PPII+ has that dipswitch between 9v and 12v) or daisy chain (both power and audio signal) with a PSA powered pedal to short out that drop down circuit.
Don't get me wrong I'm not defending BOSS by a long shot. Some of the stuff they put out wasn't very good at all; I'm just saying.

also - the Ditto? it actually remembers the last loop when you power down your board and power back up.
NEAT.

yahp. some gidjet on TB said they plugged it in via usb to their computer and it showed up as a hdd. i keep forgetting to try that and TC has said the usb is just for upgrades, but i know it saves loops at least until you delete them.

if you stop a loop without deleting it and then turn off your pedal board, it will be there when you press play next time you turn your board on

Was I being an asshole RE: ACA/PSA powersupplies?
I feel like I was being an asshole.
Is that shit just common knowledge by now?
Just wondering. And I apologize if I was an asshole.

No asshole that I see. I did laugh at jwar bashing Boss because his 20-30 year old pedal was causing him issues though (love you jwar!)

For all the shit people give Boss, there sure are a shit load of DS-1's out there still in working order from back in the day. Blame them for lack of cleverness or continuous rehashing for sure, but those things were pretty tank like in a lot of regards!
