You sell it so you can have a new vertical one.

I had an old vertical one anyway!

Maybe I'll see if the friend I sold it to will give it back... Or maybe I'll just get a cool new one, the gate switch does look interesting.

Behndy I can't wait for your demo

d'awwwwwww ! thanks! oof. i can't WAIT until i get one. thing looks so pimp. really hoping he'll do an unfinished boxy for me to make it quicker for Dan to pimp out. WHY DOES HE HAVE TO DO THE SECHSY ORANGE AFTER I HAVE LOADS OF ORANGE PEDZ DAMNIT.
behndy wrote:....... alas, it showed up with the expression input a bit buggered.
oop! so, it's not buggered, he just wired it different than my expression pedal expects. he said it worked fine with the expression pedal they use in their shop, i'm sending it back to have him swap it to fit mines today.
Mssr. Black Jack (shit. i JUST got that. i'm..... i'm not that smart sometimes) Deville seems like a really good guy. i'm a git about expression control stuff and values and all, he went through about 15 emails with me trying to troubleshoot it then did some research on the Mission pedal i'm using to figure out what was going on. even offered to send me a shipping label to get it back to him. i declined, since it's my fault i didn't specify what gear i was going to use it with, but it's a very cool way to handle a problem.
whether i end up ultimately clicking with it or not, i LURV dealing with builders that put a premium on customer service like this.

Yep, not all the builder are like that. I contacted a builder (I'm won't name him) last week about a new pedal... he was really a dick and I probably won't purchase because of that.
And some other builder don't even reply. We are lucky on ILF they are all nice!

It's my 3rd one! ahahahahahaha! I'm fucking keeping this one though! I'm digging my board and my bass, so yea. Happy. Need more power supply and cables though. Fucking hate spending money on that shit.
I hate spending money on peripherals as well. I always feel good when I've done it though. It's weird.
I saw it on Facebook. It looks fucking sick.
behndy wrote:also, HELLO there Mssr. Gilamando and shirt!

and what's this? is this an expression input mod for manual sweeps? yes it IS you sechsy little thing!

Congrats, man. I never use the expression pedal control on my Subdecay Quasar DLX because the idiot who designed my expression pedal (I think it was those muppets Moog

) added a straight jack cable that cannot be removed unless you modify it. I COULD take the Quasar off the board and play on it alone, but that's boring. I want it on my pedalboard, but as it stands the expression pedal just won't fit because of the damn jack.

Gate mod. Seriously. It adds so much. It maxes out the fuzz control when you hit it so you can get awesome heavy percussive shit. I keep my normal setting with the input gain and fuzz both under half, then hitting the gate for craziness and boost.

I'm torn between selling my Jazzmaster for $450 or holding out for more. Is that enough for a Classic Player with a hardcase? My attention to the used market is very bad.
It's not as much as I want, but I plan on picking up a Mustang bass this week or next and don't want to have too much gear sitting.

Guess I've gotta pick up one of the newer ones sometime. Shame they're way more expensive here BUT getting them shipped from the US is a crapshoot whether I'll have to pay customs to make up the price to the UK price or not. When it gets through, mad bargain, but that only happens like 50% of the time...
