Well if the ethos of this place is all about an interwoven fabric of boners,
then there needs to be at least some friction and yet you also can't have the fabric
too tightly woven because then there would be no room for movement.
And if things do occasionally come to a head, tension-wise, then it's only
natural that there is some amount of a refractory or recovery period before
things get going again.

"Uh huh...posts like this,
uh...uh...uh...uh huh, that's way it is.
Chill out, what are you posting for?
It's just, a free fuzz for-um.
And if, you could only let it be, you will see.
TELL ME!!!
Why you gotta go and make posts so complicated,
I see the way you're....
Trying to go ahead and get the Buy Sell Trade gated"

Uh uh, ILF’s like this
Uh huh, Uh huh, that’s Dr. Scientist
‘Cause ILF’s like this
Uh huh, uh huh, that’s Fuzzhugger, kid.
Shill what? What you sellin’ for?
Play back, it’s all been glitched before.
If you’d only go modular
Then you’d be more popular.
When we’re cruisin’ the B/S/T
And you’re talking some shit to me
But you’ve become…
Some moody ass around everyone else
You’re counting your posts so you can boast
No matter where you are
You think you’re your avatar
Tell me
Why do you have to post and make threads so complicated?
I read what you post and your boner count at most gets your status elevated.
ILF’s like this
You chat, and you spat, and you crap
All over the gear you want to commandeer
You promised me honestly I’m top of the list for you’re next flip.
G.A.S., G.A.S., G.A.S.

As someone who's first post was in BST several years ago, I feel like there's sort of an ebb and flow to that forum. Seems to me like there's cycles of types of sales, be them firesales, whitewhale chasing, or simply not gelling with some new piece of gear that can't be returned. I've had more problems with trying to get rid of my own unwanted possessions than with any certain type of post or listing. I think post count limits are redundant, given that we have the good deals/vetting thread; doesn't bar anyone out, lets people sell to whoever they feel comfortable with. Is it shitty to pass on people with no posts? Maybe, maybe not. This is the internet, after all. I just remember being that no posts guy who stuck around.
I do like it here, but I also take everything with a grain of salt. I've had threads get few or no responses, but I've also gotten a lot of advice too. I think it's probably best to go into things with no expectations; you never know when people will surprise you. I'm also one of those heathens that spent 80% of their time in the Doom Room.
