In all seriousness, I do feel really bad for Devi on some levels. Like, for a long time her pedals were my favorite things in the world for the weirdness factor. And I was really stoked by the idea of the console, which on paper looked really cool, and I still think its really cool idea, especially if your a small builder looking for exposure. But at the same time, I always kinda felt like the console wasn't gonna go through because Devi was the one making it. It was becoming pretty obvious through her social media that something was up. Hopefully she gets some sort of help and finds peace. At least aen took over pedal production for the Devi stuff, can't think of a better person to give the brand some life.

Any insight regarding the pedals Devi let those who wanted pedals instead of cash? Just curious, and excited to have a DwarviGazer
Ugh. So the basic issue is that we didn't take on this debt, which means that Devi is going to order these pedals from us. She has not done so yet. It is my understanding, though I haven't talked to her about this for quite some time, that she will start to order these as soon as she has the money to do so.
Keep in mind that we have no more information on her finances, etc, than she shares on Twitter. Shitty situation for all.
Ultimately, it's a shittier situation for you and Aen. It's gonna reflect badly on the brand if she doesn't settle her debt soon. She should've sold you the company for less & had you acquire the debt with it. No doubt you would've done a better job of it. I hope it works out smoothly for all.

Thanks for your concern. We did take into account the hit the brand would take with the debt when we settled on a price.
So far the transition has been as smooth as we could have hoped for. I am way more concerned for the people who need to be paid back that Ben and I. We knew what we were getting into, which is more than I can say for most of her Kickstarted backers.

That sucks really bad. I mean it's good and smart you two didn't take on the debt. Shitty that it hasn't been resolved. I don't really see this getting resolved either. Devi is cool, but how would she come up with that kind of money? I mean if she spent it all, then she'd have to have another fund raiser just to pay back what was purchased through kickstarter. Sucks.
So glad Dwarfcraft took the company. Awesome stuff all around.

well, yeah, she did. you're the one turning this into a trans rights issue, not that other person.
They posted it and then said that she is falling apart at the seams. Thats the part that concerns me. If being proud of your body and trying to make money is falling apart at the seams then what the fuck is normal?
They did not "just say what was going on" they're implying what she is doing is a sign of bad mental health. And if you think subtle shit like that doesn't matter, then cool. I am still going to point it out. I'll make it an issue if I think it is an issue because whether I am wrong or right it needs to be discussed so someone can learn something. Be it me or you.
