GMD posted this video this recently. He gets pretty tight traditional tones from the Pharaoh. Seems like everyone is pulling something different out of it.

Nice. You got an SG into a Marshall. Most of his vids that I've seen are the King Bee tele into Dr Z.

You do! Totally worth it! It's more compressed and smooth. But it's nice being able to switch over to sili and it gets a little louder and more raw, and then none just rip your head off with sheer volume.

Agreed, it's adds a really nice flavor.I wouldn't want it all the time, but it's warm and chunky, and sometimes, dammit, that feels good.

I just ordered a second custom finished Pharaoh with the germ switch a few days ago, I figure the more options the better. I like that the standard diode switching remains the same with the addition of the germ option. My bass player nagged me enough, convincing me to sell him my original Pharaoh and order this custom. Has anyone heard this pedal on bass yet, MONSTROUS!! Sounds fantastic, and he's been through quite a few fuzz pedals trying to find the right one. That search is finally over so all you bass players, this could be your fuzz answer.

Recording a Pharaoh bass clip for Mark has been on my to-do list for a while. I keep getting pulled out of the studio. I got as far as putting the camera on the tripod and pointing it at the Pharaoh on Saturday when my dad came by with his laptop. He got that damn fake AGV 2011 virus. That effectively ended my studio time for the day.
I'd like to get it out on Youtube soon so I'll keep you guys posted.
Here's a pic of my bass rig.

I changed up the color scheme a bit but I stuck with the original Pharaoh graphics as I think they look super badass! I'll post a pic when it arrives.

You definitely need to do a bass demo with that rig, I'm sure it's just crushing through that setup. Can't wait to hear it!
