Idiot noise, I dunno.
I wanted to make something today, but couldn't keep at it. So I just kinda mashed the little things I made into one.
Wes, that last track is really cool! Scraping sheet metalcore. Standing outside a factorycore.
Damn, this whole page is cool.
Thanks dude, I think I'm kind of finding my stride as far as making music (not really music to some I guess

) I like goes.
I dig those sounds you were getting, I dig that the track was still pretty abrasive but had some real depth to it. What'd you use for it?

Thanks doods!
It was 3 tracks of my Korg Electribe EMX. The distorted drums were made by running its right out into a TAFM, and the left out into an HM-2 copy. Not that it really matters. All the rest was with the EMX's effects and filters. And brand new tubes that made a big difference in sound quality...although I can't say how much it applies here.
You can run your guitar (or whatever) through the EMX; I need to try that sometime.
By the way, it's excellent for making porno music.

Sweet man, well done and nice boards. It feels to me that it takes a peculiar kind of guts to play a one-man noise show.

Agreed, I could never do it. Then again I don't know anyone that would watch around where I live

thanks, guys!
yeah, there's a noise scene here in northern california... some of the noise guys here play across the nation! it's crazy

i got a chance to share the stage that day with some fine noise acts... as well as some ambient groups from france!
i'm nowhere near as good as some of the others who performed that day, but i'm making the excuse of "it's my first time"

Hey I thought it was damn cool. Also that's awesome that there is a scene for that around you, wish we had that in Minneapolis.

damn nice solo gig, Owl man
the weirdest part of playing a solo noise show is when its done and you see most of the people are still in the room

some more sacramento/northern california noise acts.
the scene is thriving here. it's wonderful.

and here's Instagon, a local jam-band collective. I took part in this jam. Many of the revolving members/players are also a part of the noise scene here in Sac, and the bassist is the booker for 99% of the noise shows here

I'm so jealous that kind of thing exists near you. Those are AWESOME.
There was a DIY/local music kinda place not too far from my house, but they shut down like a year ago and are supposedly looking for a new building to set up in...dunno. I really hope they can re-establish themselves.

In Minneapolis we have a solid hip-hop scene which I thoroughly enjoy but everything else has been kinda meh to me

We've got some solid pop-indie bands but I don't really listen to them that much.
I doubt if I'll ever perform my stuff live, I wouldn't really be able to replicate everything anyway

Anyways, her's the noisest piece I've done in a while, I fucking dig it!
