going to order a power supply at the end of the month. Definitely going with coiks DC 10 or Pussy Power. Pedalshark a good place to order from?

Have you played it? It sorta depends on how it plays.

I generally prefer Teles to PRSs though.

Yup! That's where I got my AC10 from a year or two ago.

Highly recommend Cioks and also Pedalshark. The AC10 is really underrated because it's mostly DC-compatible too which might be worth checking out if you have any pedals that run AC power.

Good choice. The pussy power is great.

So, I went to the shop where I played the 4003 and brought my P-bass with me for a side by side comparison.

No doubt the Ric looks cool as fuck and bridge pickup is nasty and amazing, but I definitely preferred the neck on my P-bass and the pickup over the Ric neck pickup (probably because the output was so low). I know the neck on Rics vary from year to year, but this one is really chunky. The flat profile is cool with me, just not the thickness. & it's Fireglo. Which is cool, but it's not my preferred finish, & if I'm dropping over $1500 on an instrument, my preferences are very important.

So the Ric gas has cooled off for now. Will definitely keep my eyes out for one I like, but don't need to rush.
However, this experience does increase my desire to throw a Ric bridge pickup in my P
