Looking good man.
Bet that sounds killer too.
Icemen transcend all the lame shit Ibanez has done in the past, SLK (not that they don't make great shit as well).

Oh I know, I actually do own an Ibanez and in the past owned 3 others. I ended up selling the other 3 off because I honestly never reached for them as often. I kept the one cause it's so awful and it's perfect for recording some really fucked up noisey shit. Bands kinda like Vessels Cast From Cripple Hands, or Plot to Blow up the Eiffle Tower, Head Wound City... it's just that natural fucked up ness of the wiring and pickups. Love it for that. I have an ep recorded using it and I guess I'll be doing the vocals on it soon since my friend who was going to opted to never do it after 2 years.

I've had Ibanez before but always sold them and until i got this one i stayed away because the necks are to "shred" for me. I like that gibson type feel to a neck...but this 500 is bloody brilliant in the neck department...one of the nicest I've ever played. So for me, its almost not an ibanez. Someone else said that the AR's also have similar necks so will have to check those out too.

See I like shred necks, just overall didn't like em as much as the ones I kept. I mainly play on my Jacksons, Deans, and Washburn

How're you liking that Windsor for bass? I've been eyeing them for a while because they're so cheap and I just want to be Lemmy sometimes.
Its decent. No gobs of bass, but it grinds real nice.
I would use it for the "guitar" portion of the Bass VI rig I'm building, so that's exactly what I want it for. Thanks!

I don't "like" him. He's my bff, and my brother from another mother. When I get married, he'll be my best man.

A lot of the bravado and shit-talking is truly for sport, so don't put too much stock in it. He is truly one of the most genuine and thoughtful people I've ever met.
i always assumed as much. people who met him in real life seemed to have nothing but good things to say. i was amused by his internet persona. i just assumed he was a dude who (rightly so, if you ask me) didn't take the internet too seriously and kind of had fun with being an asshole on forums. dude had fucking sweet gear and i really did respect his opinion on stuff. i think he had good taste.

Yeah. If they do nothing else, Ibanez make mad necks.
I agree with your previous Ibanez related post as well. They only have two modes: super amazing, or super trashy (which can occasionally be awesome in its own right).

Managed to get a shot of everything after getting it set up and before the drums are in the way.
