So this was the first and last time we played these, because I forgot.
Anyways disclaimer because it was recorded with my phone.

We just put some stuff up on Bandcamp last week or so. It's all improvised on the ambient/doom/jazzy sort of side of things. In fact I met the drummer just a few minutes before recording. We should be putting up some stuff up with another drummer in the next couple of weeks.

Here's another project with the violinist/bassist in Maid of Orleans we called City of Heracleion. It's got a different drummer. Similar vibe but heavier and probably 75% improvised. One song had 3 short riffs that always changed and everything around them changed but that was about as much writing as we did for that.

I dig it man. Cool stuff. Streamed this on my commute to work today.

My band just put up our first recordings and I've got a bunch of spooky drone tapes I'm dubbing right now..... If you check my links below

I really like Deloreans, so I wrote a song about Deloreans.

Two recent songs of mine.

The first is two incomplete tracks (the first samples a dance tune by Sebastian, the second samples the trailer for Upstream Color).

The second is complete, and samples vocals from Death Grips for the outro.

I really like that a lot...especially demo 1. It's got that really nice blend of minimalism and is yet interesting enough to the point where I start just zoning it out where my imagination starts making things up around it so it's like the sound in my head is filling things in and playing along with it which is interesting because then it's always different. It's minimalism to the point where it has the illusion of more going on than really is and that's always been one of my favorite aspects of minimalism and drone. If you ever make it out to the west coast I'd love to do a collaboration album of improvised material.

Here's the first music video and a few songs by my band City Lungs.

We play grandiose pop music that often features layers of fuzzy guitars and synthesizers. The song here is taken from our debut Dead End Weekend, a concept album we're releasing one track at a time. It would be cool to hear what you guys think of our stuff :)

I only watched the video, which had a great look but took too long before it departed from the predictive story.
I really like the sound! it reminds me a lot of that forgotten era of the early 2000's, with some late U2 or Placebo in the mix. I hope this is not offensive, while there is a lot of hate for both of these bands I think you guys are taking the cool stuff from them and creating a great mix. Might be the time is ripe for that sort of stuff.

Thank you for the kind words mate. I appreciate you taking the time to listen.

Thanks a lot for listening, much appreciated! I was by no means offended by the comparisons (even though admittedly I'm really not the biggest fan of U2) — instead, I find it interesting to hear what kind of comparisons people make when they listen to our stuff. That's also why we don't really do the somewhat typical "we are influenced by the bands X and Y and you should think we sound like them, too" thing too much, either :)

Here's my band's small diy EP. The quality is... less than stellar since everything is recorded with two mics at most with limited mastering and production. It's more for booking/proving we're a band that makes music than for selling purposes. We'll definitely record properly when we have the funds. Thanks to anyone who listens.
I sing on Tongue Biter and play bass on everything btw.

My band split so I've been screwing around with weird things on my laptop while I try to find another drummer who gets a wide-on over fuzz.
