You have three separate boards? That is cool. Swoooooon. I plan to have two boards, a Pedaltrain Jr size for gigging Pedaltrain Pro size for home.yallerhon wrote:Guys,

The smallest board is for solo shows, which are kept pretty dry / clean sound-wise.
The middle one is for band shows; shoegaze / ambient / post-rock / drone sorta stuff. The Freeze will probably move to the solo board and be replaced with a Superego (GASSSSS). Thinking of putting my old Boss ME-30 in the effects loop of it.
The large board is for jams, writing sessions, recording, tweaking and experimentation. That said, when doing so I normally have all three boards in one giant TONE-SUCKING™ chain.
Good deals with: PumpkinPieces, maz91379, allicio, nelsinian, tomlane95, casperh7, insubordination, bronzetalon

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
What I find a ball-ache with multiple boards is the cost of power supplies. I really wish they didn't cost so much. To finish my boards I'm going to end up paying the same amount I'd pay for a fantastic guitar just for power supplies, cables, and boards. I know it's got to be done, but it's the only part of building a pedalboard I hate.
What patch cables do you use? Any recommendations?

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
You're not wrong re power supplies, boards, accessories, dual lock, cable and all that stuff. I try not to think about it.
I'm trying to make my upcoming purchase of a Superego my last pedal for a month or two while I save up for a Tele or Jaguar / Jazzmaster..
Re patch cables, you may be able to see I have a bunch of Lava mini ELC with Hi-Con plugs on there, but I also use the black plasticy no-name ones that Prymaxe and the like send with their pedals. Whatever fits the space / pedal I'm trying to use. Honestly I've never been able to tell any tonal difference, plus I have that much stuff running usually, at loud volumes, and it all still sounds great. I do try to use the Lavas where possible.
For guitar to board and board to amp I use Dimarzio cables, apparently they're not bad and they seem hard-wearing. Also they never tangle which is a plus. I do sometimes think about getting a coily cable but only for indulgent aesthetics.
If anyone is wondering, I always play with a Godin SD (HH/S/HH) and my amp is a Hot Rod Deluxe III.

Wired and rewired. Waiting on three things. A ssbs double from Brian to replace the Ventures duo (don't worry, they still have their planned use) and a the Multiwave Distortion will be replaced by the SB2 BEF when it's available. Might also add a Polytune mini again since I have the space.

Re: Let's see your PEDAL BOARD!
ive sold a bunch of shit that i couldnt justify keeping since im not actively playing in a band at the moment. This is what im rocking right now.

I'll be looking for a fuzz like the Team Awesome! and some kind of modulation here one day soon. Maybe like a particle delay for some fucked up sounds.

"2" on the pharoah/fuck combo, and the board as a whole looks great, really classy.SpaceFlunky wrote:ive sold a bunch of shit that i couldnt justify keeping since im not actively playing in a band at the moment. This is what im rocking right now.
