Refs called it goalie interference, but really it's Howard headbutting Perry's ankle then diving to get the call. Classless.

Yeah; I give Howard a 9.5 on that dive. Perhaps a little less splash next time.

So a buddy of mine hooked me up with a Sadowsky Bass Preamp/DI a few months ago. He thought it was broken and said if I could fix it I could have it. Thinking that it was inoperable I never took the time to plug it in. So, today was the day. And it fired right up. I think it had a dead battery or he was powering it improperly or he was just a noob. I'm powering it with a boss standard power supply. The DC in is a little wonky but that's about it.

I'm using the preamp to push more bass frequencies to my Pignose G40V tube amp into gutted Ashdown Perfect Ten Bass Cab. This is my jury rigged home practice rig. The Ashdown was a SS glorified practice amp that I gutted the amp portion out of and wired an input jack to the speaker. I just unplug the guitar voiced speaker in the Pignose and run a speaker cable to the cab.

The preamp in the G40V is voiced more for guitar so having the Sadowsky gives me a much fuller sound more bass friendly sound. I'm running the Pre just before the input on the amp. For this purpose; I'm pretty impressed with the Sadowsky.

Also slapped some new strings on the P-Bass. Picked up some Ernie Ball Super Slinky Nickels in .100. Nothing like a fresh set of strings on a bass. It's a little pleasure,
