i don't know anything about Ken Taylor, and aesthetically it has all the things i don't like the way they look on a bass, but..... so? fucking AWESOME you found a deal on bass you really like playing. congrats! Well, I took it to practice last night. The bass sounds killer, but once I started playing a couple of our songs I realized that the neck profile and I aren't going to get along, just a little to thick and wide for my preferences. It does make me miss a bridge pickup every once in awhile. My Dinger is super killer, but whatever my second bass ends up being, I want it to have a much different sound than it.

That's okay though, I'm going to get the jack fixed up, shoot some pretty pics of it and see what kind of sweet 5 string I can get in trade for it. Worse case scenario I can always return it, but I should be able to sell it for at least what I have into it.

Depth Charge is looking pretty sweet!

also, even aside from the idiocy they spew some times, the most annoying thing about Over Thar is the screen names.
