Shhhh donts tells anyones

Ape blaster into either revelation or destroyer= serious fuck yeah (not his current project but maybe should be  )

My thing with the Ape and other pedals is.... it does not need them. Just good as is.

When the VT gets here, I'm thinking it will replace the Pharaoh in the trifecta of awesome that is my main tone. Experiments tomorrow will confirm this will work, then I'll have that, ape, and low gain sweetness from the pharaoh. I mean, that's a very great sound that I think we all overlook because it's so good when making extreme loud noises. So those three sounds and the burial and fuck man, I keep saying shit cant get better and these evil fuckers keep making better shit. Kinda getting a meatsmoke hunger going on too...

Yeah, I couldn't get the Ape and the Rev to play nice together. I got close but I think I need more time with em.
The AB does just sound phenomenal on its own, its hard to weigh up whether or not its worth stacking it just for some extra gravity at the cost of definition.
If I was playing snails-paced-uber-doom though, then, yeah, no brainer. But I like a bit of clarity when I speed it up some.

They do keep making awesome shit.
I really want a rev and a BF in the one enclosure with an order switch now.
Fucking GAS...

I might suggest trying to pull some of the upper mids out of the kick as it sounds a bit hollow at the moment, but it really depends on the kick sound your going for. The snare sound is delicious and the overheads sound great as well. Love the guitar tone as well, overall great job!

SWEET SCORE on the amp bro!!! Glad to hear you like it! My AD200B was similar in its volume taper, 0-4 was negligible 4-7 was smooth and then 8-10 was like holy batballs robinman!
Thanks man. I only messed around with it for about 30 minutes before recording it. We tracked the dirty guitars yesterday and the bass drum sounds better with them in the mix. I see what you're saying though, I'm gonna tweak everything again once I get the bass tracks done. I want the low end boom to come through while still having the attack and punch from the high end without being all clicky. I'll try to upload a clip tomorrow with what we have so far.
AxAxSxS wrote: Skip, to clarify on the 4412H tony does not use it. I use it as part of my guitar rig which I think pisses tony off every time I plug a bass into my setup and it sounds better  He is using an ampeg 8x10 and a sunn 2x15. He has asked to use it before and I think I went all Gollum on him.

I fucking lol'd hard.

Did anyone notice on the commercial for the RX drug Crestor, there is an Orange amp and cab in the living room?

well I guess this commercial has been out for a while. I'm probably late to the party. I love how he's talking like a teenage girl

Thank you to whoever posted that the newest Indian tracks were up. Since then all I've done was jam Guilty and then now From all purity. Easily the best new band I've found in a while. I love feel of the tracks. The weight of their style. i love it. I know some of these guys are around here, i dig it. I needed a new band. I'll admit, allot off the band's y'all really like fly right over my head, my ear is very narrow. This my friends was a bullseye.
I saw a commercial last night that had a closeup of someone turning the knobs up on a redknob Coliseum and then stepping on a Big Muff. I can't remember what the product was though.

No prob!!! I gotcha, it would most likely sound better with dirty guitars in the mix as that will mask some of the upper mids. If you need any help please feel free to contact me and I'll do what I can to help. All I can say for now is crank them 63hz on the kick drum for the in your chest punch. :thumb:

That's pretty fucking dope. My buddy who does the radio show is doing an interview with the lead guitarist from Thou; apparently there is going to be a collaboration between them and The Body, so I'm pretty stoked to get a little inside info on that ish.

I think I'll be adding a second cab to the rig soon. Maybe it will quench my desire for a second head by providing more volume? It certainly won't give me too much more headroom though, which I could almost certainly use.

That's awesome news Conky! I'm so very sad I missed The Body last week when they came through Baltimore :(

I'm beyond stoked for their collab with Thou. It's like my dream. Ughhhnnnnnyeahhhhhhh

Lastly, I entered a multimedia contest on Facebook to try to win an Atlas cabinet, and I wanted to spam it here for your help!

Here is my submission- if you guys like it that would be awesome!

Glad you're okay, bb <3
Stoked for you. Hope you get that fucker.

Anybody here going to see The Body in LA? It'll be the first time I'm going to a show since I've been out here. Been dying at the lack of guitar playing homies to talk gear with.
