who cares
i keep it tuned to e standard
for long sessions on ultimate guitar
the neck sucks but the action is so damn low

Nope, Tom Delonge (Blink 182) sig model.... hardtail, big headstock, and a SD Invader pickup w/ vol only.

On the subject of strats:
I've been working on picking up a guitar rig and I was really close to picking up this mim w/p90s for $225. I just couldn't get over the fact that it's a CAR strat.

I haven't done the deal yet, but I'm starting to rethink it. What's your thoughts on these two options? The strat also comes with the original pickgaurd a pickups. So if I ever want to sell I can just replace the p90s.

Ahh, I had a guitar with an Invader pickup once. it sounded ok, but the allen head bolts on it rusted like crazy after about 3 gigs. Did you see the post a few pages back with the drum tracks I recorded the other night? I compressed and mixed the tracks together like you suggested and they came out way better than the last stuff I recorded.

That strat is nice! But that Jag is nicer!! Skully has one of those and its really nice!

Their not bad pickups but like you said they are def prone to corrosion.

Nice on the mixing dude!!!! Here's another lil secret tip / trick. If you want the snare to have a lil more body and pop out a lil duplicate the track and put distortion on it, like maxxed out old school DOD pedal distortion with an EQ bump around 4-500, scooped around a thousand, hpf at like 250hz and lpf at probably 1500-2000 (the LPF varies depending on how the snare sits in the mix, id move it around till it sounds right), and then mix it in under the regular snare track like you did the super compressed mix buss. :thumb:

You gotta anything to post yet?

Yeah but the jag has its cons; $300 as opposed to $225, no gig bag or case.
If I got the strat I could pick up a 112 cab to go with the vox amp I'm looking to pickup.

I'll be deciding by tonight. If I go with the jag then I'll let you know.

ART!!!!! that's a great drawing. Love the lightning emerging from the gramophone.

Re: candy apple red, If you are likely to mess around behind the bridge, get jag, if not, that thing with p90's? Fuck yeah. Red is also the color of the blood of your enemies.

Needing a cab too would make me lean to the strat.

Definitely not a need. I'm not attempting to be a dual instrument kinda guy. I just want a guitar so I can complete the thought in my head. Make me independent with writing riffs. I have no need to play behind the bridge and if I got the jag, I probably wouldn't ever go through the work to change pickups.
