One of my bands recently did a bunch of acoustic adaptations to some of our full band songs. :joy:

Just recorded a solo EP (with a backing band):

Just the first track is streaming currently, but I'm about to drop a new EP of songs I wrote and taught to a bassist and drummer and recorded over break with a fine fellow called Ryan Power (http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/164 ... nt-to-die/). He recorded Happy Birthdays self titled sub pop release.

This review of it just came out, and I'm super stoked, "song explodes in a storm of overdriven indie rock before washing out into a hypnotic, shoegaze-y groove"

Also: would be very much obliged if Facebook users wanted to 'like' ma page. Was resisting but decided to make one tonight: https://www.facebook.com/garrettlinckmusic

Let me know what you all think.

Recorded this EP for the SolidGoldFX Tourbox!

I think I'm done. I might record one LAST track tonight to show off the random mode of the Apollo Phaser because it's so fucking awesome, but here's an EP I recorded with JUST The Zeta, If 6 Was 9, Apollo, and Surf Rider:

nicely done.

did you do the drums before or after the recording? that's a big problem i have...if i don't have the beat, i cant keep in time, which is one of the reasons i have never ventured into home recordings.

Before! I programmed the drums for each track and then laid out the songs over top of them. It takes a liltte practice, but its honestly the only way I record now
