I think it's more to do with the power supply than anything. I was running it from a daisy chain before and it was very noisy. And for some reason it whines unless I run it from the 12v output from my CIOKS DC10.

I wouldn't know whether to call him a douche or not. I've stopped calling people who are in over their heads derogatory names, because for all I know he was going through a really tough divorce and didn't have the guts to make make his customer base aware.

I see you're point, but there's no excuse for poor business practises. If you can't get your shit together you shouldn't be talking folks' time and money. You can't deal with customers, orders and deadlines reliably? Make stuff, sell it in batches on etsy, ship it pronto. Done. With so many great builders and companies I don't see the need to put up with disorganised dudes disguised as pros. There is a difference in colours actually. The recent ones are straight Pelham Blue, while the originals were Aged Pelham Blue, or at least become that way over years, which looked more like a green than blue. The aged finish is much cooler, IMO. It's like when a Silverburst becomes yellow.

What happens is the clear coat yellows over time, which when layered over the blue makes it look green

I would be so happy if one of us managed to snag that. My second favorite bass manufacture is Modulus, because Ne'Shell Nedeglochello plays one and I have the mad hots for her. That and when I had more than 3 basses at one point in my late teens I had two graphite neck basses; an Ibanenz and a Cort. Loved the non wood necks on those basses.
