Also I have enough anxiety issues with driving. I'm not willing to try bartering with strangers in person.

My haggling/bartering skills are non-existent. I just get walked all over. When I'm home with something I don't want, then I get pissy and start pretending to win the argument, thinking to myself, 'I wish I'd said this' or 'I wish I'd said that. He would have soooo caved.' Alas, my more brutish qualities have yet to present themselves.

That looks really cool. I love simple looking combos like that.

morange wrote:Nice. Yeah I don't ever really haggle with people in person; the details are set up by email. Like, if the stuff works, I just give them what we agreed by email (which is usually what they asked, because if they are asking a lot in their ad, I don't bother). The barter system in the musical instrument community is an important tradition, though. Gear for gear!

Gold is the money of kings; silver is the money of gentlemen; barter is the money of peasants; but debt is the money of slaves.

I hate low-ballers though. There are many on the local Irish advert websites who will offer half the asking and hope for the best. I've seen some people accept the offer out of desperation, and the offer is then rescinded with the comment 'sorry dont want it nymore'. People just like to low-ball and see if the buyers takes it. Sometimes they have the money for it, sometimes they don't.

Got a bit of a dilemma though because while the RRR sounds way better than the Hall of Fame in general, the HoF does things the RRR doesn't like crazily long decays and modulated reverb, both of which I love. But 2 verbs seems excessive! hmm...

Don't doubt yourself, my friend. Two reverbs is far from excessive, one before dirt and tremolo, and one after. The one that can go 100% wet should be before dirt and tremolo. It makes for such a cool sound.

2 reverbs including the RRR is great - it is just so good at doing natural, sit well in the mix verb. So you've got that, and then as our Irish bro has stated, get another for massive freak out shit. This is how I roll and it's great not having to jigger around with changing settings and stuff.

Call me irresponsible. And call me fine with it.

Snagged one too - go team Europe! Any wonder our economies are all going to hell with behaviour like this...

I was loving 100% wet after dirt earlier, will have to try it before! And yeah, they can do such different things I'm pretty happy to keep both. ILVerb.com :!!!:

I love the Fuck so much that I'd actually want to know whether you could mimic the circuit and apply it to a full 100 watt tube amp.

King's Head arrived today. Sadly, I only got to plug it in for a few minutes before rushing off to work but it sounded so SUPER BADASS in that brief moment we spent together.

Stunning to look at as well, really loving the Monolith aesthetic. :thumb:

I was literally just thinking of this earlier today. I would buy that amp so hard.
