I have the identical Alvarez ABG that Mike Inez uses in the AIC Unplugged concert. I really LOVE that thing. Just had some Thomastiks put on it recently and I must say...WOW!!!

Really? I played one once when they first came out and the bridge was off so it would not intonate past the 7th fet

I have a masterfully made custom bridge on it. It whoops so much ass!

I see. I will admit to them sounding better then most production made ABGs but how well will it cut unplugged against a loud ass old school blues player? I have yet to find one that does... But solo yes I think they are great instruments.

You could dig in so hard that you rip the fucking bridge off and still not cut thru that!!!
I have never seen one that could either...ESPECIALLY my old Ovation Applause ABG!!

I remember those.. I thought they were neat..

See here is where the my mind starts to hurt bit.. a Guitarron can... granted they don't have a low E [they go to low A] and they aren't "that" much bigger but they have no bracing at all so tot top doesn't last for ever... There is a part of me that still thinks it can be done but you have to be willing to build something that might explode a few times

Not amazing,....just cool that he does it for BroBro Gayer best dumber evar. I think JoJo is the focal point of that band,...but John Davis is somewhat of an inspiration in his use of effects,...at least to me.

TBH,...I really like Nerve,...not enough to be John Davis' chicken head,...but I like the D'n'B has gone from an appropriation of the Amen Break; using samplers and machines,...to becoming a more organic,...instrument based artform. There was a time when the only way to get that drum beat was to sample the Amen Break,...now a lot of drummers can pull it off.

Lake Trout used the Live D'n'B aesthetic in the late 90's but abandoned it for a more indie/improv feel,...still one of my favorite bands.

so, was thinking...... maybe it'd be better just to have two Soundcloud accounts? one that people post clips for others to grab and use and one where we can post completed songs? that way say James puts up something, i mangle it and use it to make a thing then i can post just my roughing up of his and the original is still there? also there'd be no issue with people wanting to get their hands on stuff quicker than others.
