Dang. There's a guitar shop down the road that has a couple of Ricks in stock, I keep meaning to go up and play one of them to see how they feel.

Actually, it's a pretty crazy awesome shop. Their website doesn't do them justice, it's easily almost as big as some GCs I've been in, but the staff is actually nice, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I have been working out and working hard for almost 2 months now, it is amazing how much this has changed me. Not only am I getting lighter and fitter but I have more mental energy for things that I have been plotting and scheming to do for what seems too long now. I felt that I kind of blew my late teens and 20's by not doing much and making choices that were not that good for me.

It is my goal for my 30's to be one the best decades of my life and man it is sure shaping up to be that way....

Going down to the coast for an entire week to spend some R and R with my wife after a brutal tax season (she works at an accounting firm) bringing some books to read and possibly my guitar. I may head over to the yeold Old Town music to pick up a stock tuner and some strings and really learn to strum the son of a bitch.

I think its going to be a good week!

Nice! Those crush kits are really good! Especially for that price. Just tell him not to put coated heads on them.. I've made that mistake before.. acrylic drums and coated heads do not go well together.

i'll pass that on. i don't know ANYthing about drums. i know he bought new heads preemptively. he got to play a set in a GC and really liked them. getting in when a company's new is GOOD. way cheapah.

Dental work is so expensive. My dental insurance coverage starts in about 2 weeks, I am going to max that shit out so quickly.
