The EAR AD4096 rules hard but save your $$$ for the DLX. I got some details via email recently and it's expected in the next month or so. Retains the awesome look and features of the standard but sports 900ms of delay time, tap tempo, and CV/EXP features.

SDD rules too, I have an old 4-knobber. Pretty sure Ryan is doing a rerelease this year...

My EGC Chessie build is on the home stretch and it's set to replace my Maton BB1200JH. Been meaning to post that Maton for sale awhile now, just haven't gotten around to it.

Good thing cuz I just found a Fender Custom Shop Bass VI in Sonic Blue that I had to have.

Then I traded my Maton for that Bass VI straight up, a total steal on my end. Psyched!

Watched a bunch of solo Dylan Carlson stuff tonight with the female vocalist he's been using. Makes me want to break out the old Phase 90 and a booster pedal and just fiddle all night long

i'm torn between putting in an order and paying off half of a second Dingwall, which i need to do sometime, getting a second ipad so i can have a Music Only Ipad or getting laser surgery. i not only hate wearing glasses but can't do contacts for more than a day at a time, i just got an eye infection that they they think was off of bacteria trapped in my contact.

grody sentence from my optometrist - "i mean, contacts are like SPONGES. all the micro holes in them pick up and store bacteria like sponges. ever smell a sponge that's old and needs to be replaced? if contacts were any bigger they would STINK.".

EW.

Have you tried a hydrogen peroxide-based contact solution? I had to switch about 4 years ago due to a bad reaction to saline and it made a HUGE difference. Just a possible (cheaper) idea.

Plus, dude, Dinger. Yum.

The Dlx sounds cool, but I usually use short delay times.

How would you describe the repeats of the ad4096 and the sdd? Washy or punchy/crisp?

No question dude. Get the surgery. The rest can wait.

GreyGrey - havna tried that. my Opto Lady (best. superhero. EVER. she has eyes where her nipples should be. ALL SEEING eyes.) recommended daily lenses to sidestep all that, but i'm leaning towards eye surgery just to be safest.

jWARious - yah. i really want that, but i'm sorta thinking about putting enough down to get the Dinger started, wait a month to have the monies to get the lasers attached to my eyes, then pay off the Dinger before it's built. it DOES take about 3-4 months from order.

i just get a bit skeered 'cause they're fucking BEASTS and i've never had problems with mine, but i don't have another bass i like. so i never bring a backup. we're trying to get to weekend tours within 6 months, and that would be STOOPID to travel with only one bass.

DILEMMAS. I GOTS THEM.
