As far as it's potential uses, it seems like it has a lto of different useable settings and the fact it has the expression pedal in is very rad and I could see that being super useful. Plan on buying an expression pedal for that and my delay pedal once I buy a larger pedal board.
What amp are you rocking? Depth knobs are a delight. I want to get an older Jet City JCA100H head and have it modded with a depth knob. It is the only feature on the JCA100HDMs that I give a fuck about. The power scaling is cool but I never turn down haha
i've got a JCA50H…its was a beast of an amp before the mod with the 6L6 and i think with the mod on the tubes and the depth knob should make it a winner! I do use it as a pedal platform primarily and it works great for that. But i haven't tried it yet…so will find out soon.

Killer! I want the amp for it's high gain capabilities but if it can handle fuzz that is rad as fuck too. Let me know how you like it with the new mods. Specially the depth knob.

Bahah! I entered mine expecting to get blown out of the water. Last night I had like 25% of the votes in my round, was coming second, now it's down to below 10%

.
I'm up against behdy's board though, and it's fucking ridiculous. Seriously sweet stuff on there.
Mine's like, "duh, dirt...echo...duuuuh yeah!"
I saw a few of your boards floating around. Hopefully one of us doomers gets through to finals.

Haha yeah behndy as an opponent is never easy!! He's the cobra Kai of BILF!
Well my round is a close match so far, I might make it to finals but not past it. Tjlong wrote a whole "this is the best board in BILF and this is why" post about my board and I got all teary eyed and mine like yours is super simple wah > dirt > delay.... Well if you didn't know which board is mine u do now haha

Fucking ey man.
I knew your board straight off the bat, I dig it, it's super simple but brutally effective.
I'm listening to Slomatics now...fuck our dollar bottoming out, otherwise I'd get that sucker on vinyl. Such pretty artwork.
Also making me want a meathead. Just hit an ILFer up about a cheap ARC meathead deluxe clone, see what happens I guess.
EDit: Skip, you bastard! You beat me to the meathead.
Should've figured that's what happened there when you posted your board a couple of weeks back.

Fuckin hell I tried a Sunn 200S today in a vintage store around here. Sounded amazing and shook the room. Felt good. $600 for that head is a little too much, right?
They also had a 30+ year old Silverburst LPC that aged into that incredible green-tinted color. I want both so bad.

Dude, aren't you in Ireland?
I'd say outside the US that's reasonable.
Also, pics of that fucking LP!!!
Just had a jam through the little Hiwatt loaner I've got. Managed to find settings that didn't suck

(got the day off sick though,

).
Got the ape blaster sounding good (they didn't agree before) and getting close with the rev/BF combo.
Gotta run it cranked on half power, no tone, no gain.
Still might swap out the el34 for a nicer one to say thanks to my mate. Any suggestions?

Sorry man, I have no idea why I thought you were Irish.
I'm having one of those days.
Holy shit, that LP looks amazeballs.

600 is high, but only if it's not in great-to-exquisite condition.

Well, half of me is of Irish descent. Don't leave me out in the sun too long.
That LPC is pretty much my endgame dream guitar.
I wonder if I can talk 'em down on the Sunn. Probably. The guy consigning it to the store is a real-life big deal musician so I mean, he's got money. It was very clean and clearly had been well-taken care of.

I have been scoping out the 200s and have been tossing around the idea of building one for my next guitar project. If you do end up getting it, would love to hear all the details and of course any clips or vids you would be willing to make. There are not that many good videos of em up except for the one nick made and that focuses mainly on bass. It seems like a real neat amp that is a bit different design then what you normally get to see.

NCD!!!
MGR had a empty peavey 215 for $20 and a pair of EVM15Bs for $80!!! Theyre the 400watt Pro versions, so 800watt 215, FVCK YEAH!!! Slap em together and you got one bvtchin $100 215. I can even use the metal grill my guitarist made me, just didn't have enough screws. Can't wait for my Vulcan to get back from being restored to replace the 400. Which is the next head that will be restored, its starting to cut out a bit and is getting pretty scratchy.
