My dad and neighbor watch Duck Dynasty all the time, and the few episodes I have caught with them are pretty damn funny.

I have caught it a time or two. It is pretty funny but it is definitely "reality" TV. It is not real, those guys are all highly educated, the main dude has a Harvard Business degree. I mean, he owns a multi-million dollar company. So all that stoopid stuff is for TV and they are getting richer from it.

i can't remember what the industry name for it is, but the only part of "reality" tv stuff that interests me is the people that sift through hours and hours of boring day to day stuff and cobble a manufactores storyline together with unrelated bits and pieces.

One of my mentors had a very significant role (like, Joe Rogan's boss) on the original Fear Factor. I learned a lot from that guy.
