just in: TC Phaser XII. twelve stages, muthafucka.
currently waiting on:
Truly Beautiful Disaster Dark--my old one that i found still hanging around on the Starving Musician website
Seppuku Mind Warp
Montreal Assembly goodbye 24.
i may also be getting a Kalamazoo Bass 30 amp--the one with the 7591 power tubes--and the East German project guitar from b/s/t. i really shouldn't be buying so much stuff, but the prices are irresistible. come on, a Bass 30 for $250?

expect a BST thread with some of this once I do some shootouts with the stuff on my board
it's all literally new condition cept the CS-2 has a finicky footswitch and the DD-2 had a battery leak inside at some point, still super stoked though

So I sold my el cap and now I need to find a new delay. My issue with the el cap (and tape delays) is that the repeats are washy and sit back in the mix. I want something with very punchy repeats that have a sharp/crisp attack. I'm debating between the EA AD4096, Malekko 616, Sunny Day Delay, (after selling a kidney or 2) the Moog Delay. Any advice?

Boss DD-5 or DD-6 (depending on what options you want), I went from a DD-5 to an El Cap back in the day and what your looking for was immediately what I missed about the boss delay. Even under extreme gain the repeats were punchy, audible and crisp. The only other delay I've heard that a similar quality is the Moog MF-104M, mainly thanks to the input and output gain controls.

the TBD arrived. i know it's my old one because when i popped off the back cover, not only was the electrical tape peeled and replaced on the circuit boards, but there was an orange hair from my old cat Buddy stuck to the tape as well as one of my long white hairs. i'm really tripped out and happy that it came back to me after i had to sell it last year as part of my survival gear sales.

I'm being lazy and not looking it up but what are the main differences between the DD 5, 6 and 7?
I've never wanted my delays to be too punchy for the most part, but when I do the DD7 does the job well enough for me.
