Yeah Demo would be good.crohny wrote:samzadgan wrote:i've been wanting to buy one of those for ages...always been on the fence with that one.crohny wrote:Finally bought an EQD Rainbow Machine. Will be picking it up on the 7th. Pumped. Also who makes that semi hollow LP that is posted above?
It's an extremely weird fucking pedal and with my luck Ijust spent 170 bucks on a pedal I will use for one song haha. But I have been intrigued by it ever since the first demo. For clean stuff it seems it will be rather useful to make some wacked out effects. As far as how it'll sound with an overdriven amp I have yet to really hear any demos that show that off but I don't see it sucking. I'll let you know how it goes and maybe do a demo.
If it was up to me...and i had as many amps and cabs as you do...i would go the LP semi.whiskey_face wrote:marshall slx or krankinstien or that les paul semi or es 137
i love tax time
I will definitely try and get a demo. I can only do video via my phone and I have a hand held recorder (which actually retains a decent amount of audio quality) so I will see what I can muster up. As far as it's potential uses, it seems like it has a lto of different useable settings and the fact it has the expression pedal in is very rad and I could see that being super useful. Plan on buying an expression pedal for that and my delay pedal once I buy a larger pedal board.samzadgan wrote:Yeah Demo would be good.crohny wrote:samzadgan wrote:i've been wanting to buy one of those for ages...always been on the fence with that one.crohny wrote:Finally bought an EQD Rainbow Machine. My hesitation is the same as yours...how much would i use it. Its one of those effects that you dont want to over-use...but if you pick your spots with it, it would be very unique and could make a song really pop.
I finally got my amp back from the tech...now has dual KT66's and a depth control. Cant wait to get home and try it out! That and the new SFT pedal acting like a preamp of sorts i think this current reincarnation of my rig will sound killer...i hope so anyway
Now this I can get down with. Fuckin saweet.
