A thread about a quality and one of the best foot stomp tuners is not surprising. Being in tune is as much or more important as knowing how to play.
Guess if someone wants to sound like slop they can. But hey, to each their own right?

lololololol. SICK BURN DOOD. IMPRESSIVE.

I'm scratching my head at your choice of antics. But ok...

well, i mean, if you want a SERIOUS answer (boooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrring) than it's that TB Efx has gotten more and more boring as time's gone on. and this thread is like the epitome of....... i dunno. Banality In Action i guess. there are still a few interesting people that post once in awhile, but outside that just....... blegh. yesh, tune up before you play. but it's just a ****ing tool. use it, then go make some fun music.
and to have a thread. about how awesome a TUNER IS. i guess...... have fun....... with that?
**** seriousness - HURPAH DURPAH IF YOU DON'T SEE THE BEAUTY OF INTENSE LOVE FOR A SPECIFIC TOOOOOONER YOU MUST PLAY OUT OF TUNE AND SLOP IT UP ALL NIGHT HRAHH DEEE BLEEEGHGHGHGHARDLAFSDFHAGHADLHG.

wow...

It's not the actual being in tune that I like about the turbo tuner.
If that were the reason behind the ever so strange boner I have over the pedal, then my $6 Korg pocket tuner would be the same.
I just like making a competition between me and my bass about beint in tuniest and using the TT as a ref.

So, Who Fvcked their tuner today?

well, NOW i'm listening. **** just got INTERESTING.
go ooooooooooooooooooooooon.......
And forgive me this "slight high jack"....
Talkbass as always been a forum of respect, hence why I have gravitated towards it so much.
What kind of message are you sending to fellow musicians by stereotyping yourself as a arrogant musician and honestly, a disrespectful one.
I say two things:
1. If you don't like it in the emotions you speak of, don't post. Don't infringe on others on your arrogant emotions of having a bad day and spew such distaste to TB. Send that to a moderator.
2. Be careful and beware that your actions may get moderated. And if you don't care, don't login on TB
Anyways, that's my 2 cents.

Now back to the OP, I still think the TT is an excellent tool. OCD nightmare at times but definitely very accurate.

Well my addiction started when I was 12. I would hump anything and let anything hump me.
THE SPINNING LIGHTS!!! OH GAWD! SEXY BOX. GET IN ME, KEEP MY BODY IN TUNE.
Fun Anagram for you guys Turbo Tuner= Boner Tutu

I'm just trying to figure out what boring *** music is being played where a tuner is considered an effect......

The thing i like the most about the TT is that its fast. I can check my intonation on the upright if i need to..you cant do that with the eg tu3.
Moderator.. are you going to give behndy a warning?

Truly an awful tuner for bass.
Sold mine the day I bought it.

Also yes, someone should report this thread. A tuner is not an effect. From the FAQ itself:
Mods, please move this one!

No I am not

Boner Tutu is awesome.
well, all i WAS going to say was that it was very weird to see a thread in the effects forum that was drooling over a tuner. ODD.
but YOU, silly guy, implied that since it bugged me i must be a sloppy dooder who enjoyed being sloppy and out of tune and BLEHLAHRLKGJHELRKHGH. whatevahs.
Real men tune by ear

Contrary mode engaged? Or did you really not dig it?
I've been super lo-fi/ghetto about tuning from day one. I bought a plug in tuner when I bought my first electric bass at 14 and have used that cheap thing forever. Tune before a set and then assume I stayed in tune the whole night - I'm a PROFESSIONAL.
Anyway, when it finally gave up the ghost I bought a used Polytune (non-mini cause that's how I roll/what was on sale) and it works okay but I'm not thrilled with the display, especially for outdoor gigs.
Figured the Turbo was top of the line and would check it out.
