Well that was quick. I have a Mother 32 on the way that I got for my Basimilus Iteritas Alter and Warps. Lots more to flip/trade still

Why do you need a traditional resonant filter when you have the waveshapers? The basic waveform is a low harmonic content triangle. Add harmonics with the multiplier instead of removing with the filter.

It does have the non resonant dynamics filter that I think is good enough. It works well enough with the waveshapers.

My biggest want on the 0-coast was a divider or pull or something to make that square wave out a bit more useful out of the box.
Yeah you can definitely work around it, I'm just thinking about what you'd want to keep from a "traditional" rack if you were flipping portions of it for the 0-Coast. I know I snagged it because it has a lot of potential for pseudo-random sequences, for example.

That's that program the guys from Endangered Audio keep pushing.

Neat.

I'd rather tap some wires live personally, but it still sounded pretty good.

I really am sweating it out over the Morphagene. Expensive enough I'd have to sell something to get it right now (or preorder as it were.) This kind of gear related existential crisis always bums me out. I want to keep everything that doesn't suck, but now I'm thinking about what I can let go of that is good but not getting used much, and revising that list in my head over and over like I'm the Rain Man or something. I've decided to probably just do nothing. My go to move when deciding becomes difficult.

I'm waiting for the 4ms sampler before making a decision. It has reverse, among other things.

This is so dope:

At $129 it's more of a why not than a why. Perfect addition to a rad drum set made up of stuff like Karp/DU-KRPLS, Rings, Hexinverter, Plonk etc.

Yeah, that sounds pretty cool, but I'd much prefer something real

Definitely gonna pick this up instead of a KRPLS. Damn that thing is tight.

RE: Morphagene. Thing looks tight as fuck but I have a Ginko Synthese Sampleslicer (much less I know), and wanna see for sure what 4MS's sampler can do.

My two "big" planned modular purchases for this year are a 4ms Dual Looping Delay and a Mannequins Just Friends. A few other smaller modules swaps/purchases and my 7u should be done (with a Cell90 for the few owerflowing modules).

Also, trying the Braids Composer alternative firmware for my Equation Composer makes me want to get a Braids (or better, a uBraids if I can get someone to build one for me), but I'd have to find some HP in my planned case, i.e. remove 8HP at least, which wiuld not be easy...

Help a noob out, plz!

Okay, so getting a MS-20 Mini made me want MOAR, so I'm thinking about getting a little 3U 104HP to sit on top of the MS for even more versatility. My problem is, I know NOTHING about what utility tools I should have, just all the fun stuff. Here are things I think look fun on paper. If you can, let me know what else I would need, don't need, any less complex/expensive alternatives, other modules that would be more interesting etc. Maybe some sort of sequencer thingy? :idk:

I'm no expert at all but these are the ones i'm mostly looking at to go with my (still waiting for the money to buy it) mother-32. These and the Mutable Instruments Rings. I guess a sequencer would also be something to look for since the ms-20 don't have one... I'll be looking at a second VCO but in your case the Ms-20 already have 2 so... I guess it's enough :idk:

I'm planning on building two uBraids very soon, one for myself and one to recoup funds for this and other projects. I'll give you a holler if I come up with 2 functional uBraids. (shouldn't be an issue, just really never programmed the Atmel uCs before so I'm not 100% on this being done quick).
