Yeah, turned out nice. And agreed, def one amazing sounding fuzz, kinda like a Great Destroyer minus some noise and craziness.

I recently did the same thing: took my GK3 off my board and replaced it with a small box Cattybread Semaphore with the tap tempo. It was either the Empress or Catalinbread and decided to go for the Catalinbread for the expression pedal and tap-tempo inputs.

Same here. The Mobius is about to boot my GK3 from the board I'm thinking....

Think I'm going to be selling a lot of stuff here soon. Just not using hardly anything anymore other than about 5 pedals

There's a bunch of bass cabs at the guitar center's around here under $200.
Peavey Black Widow 1x15 (x2), Acoustic 1x15 (x2), Marshal 1x15, Seismic 4x10.
Also for a bit more a Peavey 4x12 and a Gen Benz 4x10.
Interesting.... Any suggestions?

Yes. Black Widows are awesome, plus if something goes wrong with them, you can just order the parts you need instead of having to switch out the entire thing.
Go for the twin Peeby 15ssssssssssssssss. Maximum BWOOOMMMFFFF.

Although the 412 will likely yield more high end, if that's yr thing. And probably be a bit louder.

Just ordered an ARC Effects KLONe and a Hardwire Super Natural Verb! :D

Thinking about what fuzz will go best with my Wooly Mammoth... I have 1 spot left on my board for fuzz and want something that will be able to do crazy fuzz and also the "Kurdtz" DS1 type sounds all in the one box. So maybe a fuzz isn't what I want and I should go for a distortion and just stack it with the WM for the over the top fuzz? Options, options...!

Board is finally looking much better again though! Couple Moogs, a Cosmichorus, DD7, Super Natural Verb, KLONe, Wooly Mammoth and whatever I come up with for the last spot.

I've been playing my "new" 1982 Peavey Black Widow 2X15's for a week now and couldn't be happier... LOW END FUZZ DEATH!!!

Yeah, that might be the way I go. The only speaker type I've ever known has been the 15" in my Hartke Combo, so I feel like I'm pretty good with 15"s. But the Hartke driver is metal, which probably has more high end. I don't know. I just feel it's time to get big boy pants on and actually play that Ampeg head I bought months ago (even though I have no where to play loud at all :grumpy:).

Heh I know your pain dude. The Traynor only sees a mere '1' in the apartment. My Verellen can see '3', but that's with the gain on '1'

 apartment living :faceplam:
