Just talked to Scott at NAMM about this - he said vs a vintage one - this reissue had more clean headroom...which could be what you want, could be not what you want. It's kinda like, you spend $800 on a used one and get it serviced, or buy a new one for about the same price.

Man, Guitar Center has the dumbest people working for them. Who the fuck will take your order over the phone, charge your account, and then cancel your order 10 minutes afterward? I called to see why they didn't send a tracking number after 5 days and they can't tell me anything.

At $750US, you can stick it up your arse.
That is some expensive green tolex and mojo on a solid state practice amp right there.
Only the best MOJO for your INDY TONES.

Classic GC stuff right there. I'll go out of my way to avoid doing business with the GC/MF machine. Gots Hates!

Yeah me too. I jumped on this though because I found a red knob model T on their used section. Bought it and after a few days of no tracking number I called up to find out my order was cancelled and now they don't know where the amp is. It wasn't sold, but they have no idea where it is now.

ah! what a bummer! Sounds like they sold it out from under you. Did you call your credit card company and put a stop payment on those fuckers?

Way more up my alley if it has more clean headroom. It would be a backup to my marshall and peavey so it deff needs to be able to take pedals well but I also want something that stays really clean but still is bass heavy.

Yeah, I just talked to them and they are supposed to be refunding my paypal account today. They said they didn't sell it in the store. It shipped out but they can't tell me where it went to. The fucked up thing is that I was on the phone with the guy at the store while I placed my order to make sure everything went through.

Shady. Perhaps one of the GC employees was like "no fuck that guy I wants it"?

Already posted this a couple other places, but if anyone has any requests for additional clips from the Dunwich tourbox, let me know. I have a little bit of free time to get a few done before I ship the box out again. So if you want a specific type of riffing, tone/setting, different instrument (I have a active passive jazz, 2 band Stingray and passive dual humbucker bass), single coil/different pickup position on guitar, stacked combinations of pedals or whatever, let me know.

Maybe, I actually want a tiny fender head, or something. Iunno.
Why not the Superchamp x2? Sure it's got some modeling shit in it, but people still talk pretty highly of them, especially for home use and how well channel 1 takes pedals.

Maybe you will get lucky and get the refund then the amp shows up a few days later :excellent:

And those Dunwich clips are sooooo fucking good. The Wizard Fuzz and DA120 were mah faves.

So I bought another Rat - like it a lot better than the Iron Horse, but it seems that I'm just not a Rat guy. I like to either run my amps dirty or clean, and I feel like Rats do so much better pushing an amp that has some grit already.

Read some poetry or prose and see if anything inspires you. Go for a walk on your own with a pen and paper. Find busy areas that allow you to quietly peer into the lives of everyone that walks by. Become a hipster-stalker. Seriously.

How are things everyone? I've had a really stressful few weeks and haven't been able to do anything other than worry and panic. Any news?
