hello , i am from Chicago , i have a back injury , a lot of time on my hands so (when i am able) i build pedals and that type of stuff to keep myself sane . i play guitar and bass / record a bit for fun and jam with my family band . we use line in in the winter with headphones (apartment) , and then i built battery amps for woods jams during the summer . i have a fairly decent collection of junk , and an original fz1 .

i lost my middle two fingertips to a lawnmower , so i use an alternate tuning and too many pedals , but i really have no busness being anywhere near a guitar , unless its one of those xbox ones .

i like making videos , i have a cat named goostie , and a mouse .

i came here because i have felt the need to join in a good forum for a while ... i love fuzz , and i want to pimp a few of my yt videos

I think I heard some guy became a moderately successful guitarist with a similar injury.

Hey all, Staffy from the lower half of Australia.

I came across this site looking for info on the Ape Blaster Fuzz and it looked like it was worth registering. I currently have 4 fuzzes on my board: a Black Arts Toneworks LSTR and Ritual, Malekko Helium and a small box Algal Bloom which I usually use for lighter fuzz and for pushing the other fuzzes. All great pedals. I've actually thought having two algal blooms loop selector switch would be worthwhile to try one day.....

Anyway....

There seems to be a great community here. Love it.

I've been posting around a bit, but I just now decided I should introduce myself officially:

My name is Joseph, and I'm a student studying Chemistry at the University of North Texas.
I've played guitar for quite a while, but just recently started getting into pedals.
It started with craigslist, and when that failed me, I found myself here.
Now I'm addicted to the B/S/T.

I like lots of music, and really appreciate the diversity in taste and general friendliness on this forum.

I hope to get to know this place better as time progresses and make some friends!
