It's only a few hundred more than the standard explorer at $1650...plus it's just like the old school E2 in silverburst which are 2 of my favorite things ever.

Brandon Small doesn't like hot pickups, Skwisgaar may use EMG's but the real man behind the band doesn't.

i think he uses EMGx's. not sure but i think i saw that in a video. i think it's kinda overpriced for a practically stock explorer with a silverburst finish.
me and my friend were just talking about the firebird x, when i showed him a picture. to directly quote him, "it looks like they replicated a fender jaguar in the worst possible way".
pretty accurate if you ask me

The body contour is different, has creme binding on the top/back/sides and is a silverburst finish...and it has nicer pups than the junk stock explorer (I never liked the 496R/500T)
That may or may not be worth $250 for some.
