My guitar teacher just ordered one, we'll see how it sounds.
I think they sound pretty good.
Got to play one through a JC120 because apparently Guitar Center likes to indulge Cure fans.
Duuuude, hell yes.

Fuck yeah! I just bought a Gibson CS 339 !! Absolutely stoked. 2013 has been a great year for gear even though it's only really been two major purchases with the Matamp and the 339 but I couldn't be happier. All that's left on my GAS list is to buy another Larrivee acoustic after I stupidly sold mine 3-4 years ago. When I get back to Melbourne I'm going to have a whole host of new gear sitting and waiting for me
Organising organisms.
I'd like this list to grow so sell to me please :]

Nice!
I had a few ES-339s that were of less than impressive build quality but I fell in love with the size/design. I bet a CS-339 would've alleviated any issues I had with build.....

Too right! I had my friend check it out before making the purchase, I'm still overseas, he gave his thumb of approval and will be babysitting it till I get back
I don't usually lend out gear but he's more than trust-worthy and probably looks after his stuff better than I do my stuff....

I much prefer the necks on the CS-339s than I did the ES-339s that I've played. Never came across a single bad CS-339 and they're probably more common in AU for some reason!
