Does anyone know if there are production/non boutique clones of the 5E3?

don't know non boutique* stuff but i can highly recommend the 5E3. Love mine.

*There is a shitton of US guys that clone these - from my european view for very decent prices. Also there is a Weber VST kit - probably you find a guy that slaps that togehter for you.

Man, I wish I could get one decent pedal for a mere $33.....

If you do go buying a fancy chorus tho, I'd look hard at the Cosmichorus v3 over the Sea Machine.

Already spent my Tele savings on a set of Bare Knuckle Flat 50's. High output vintage style singles with a Flat EQ and 4-way switch mod to get added position (bridge + neck series/HB mode). They apparently sound HUGE, love gain and pedals, and sport gorgeous cleans. Bare Knuckle has yet to disappoint in my experience so expectations are high. I've never jived with the thin and twangy classic Tele sound but I love the feel of those guitars. Set out to make this one sound how I prefer.

Fender 4-way switch to get that added position:

Callaham Bridge Plate and Enhanced Compensated Stainless Saddles. Had one of these on my first Tele ever, installed by the previous owner and held onto it for just this occasion. While it differs from the traditional Tele sounds, the thicker plate construction adds some obvious girth and fullness to the sound along with increased resonance and sustain. Saddles simply ensure I don't struggle with intonation like usual with these vintage saddles.

Paired with the Flat 50's, this Tele should be a BEAST!

Thinking of a major revamp. But not sure yet. Some sort of change is amiss...

I have a new generic rock project coming together, and it has me reconsidering some stuff, mainly sansamp and overdrive. But I'm still not sure how to achieve what I want. I thought about getting rid of the PBDDI and getting a Para Driver just so I can adjust Mids...I don't really use the 3 channels anyway.

I really want to try a split thing again, but I'm not sure how to go about it. Thought about getting a Boss LS-2 and just blending a dirty and dry signal together to go into the preamp, but now I'm wondering about blending two preamps together.

TL;DR: Something's amiss and some stuff is gonna come and go.

We just recorded a new song with a tubey-fat lo-fuzzy bass sound, and I'm GASing after an SFT to pull it off live.

Le sigh.

It never ends, does it?

It sure never does. Until you get an Ampeg. Then, yeah, it does.
