I'm so excited to finally get one! Hopefully fedex doesn't drop the ball. USPS has been delivering everything the day after saying it should get here lately. Things will be in the town next to mine and spend a whole day getting the extra mile away

so. here's the thing. Kayz Dizzy is awesome. and almost maybe TOO good at demos. like, i always hear him do quality, sechsy gear. but i DO think he could make even something shitty as an EHX sound good. like, even an EHX Bass Big Muff. guh.

and does that mean it sucks 'cause he can wrangle beautiful musical bits out of even crappy bleh gear? or is it fucking awesome that he shows all the amazing shit you can do and wiggles beauty out of ANYthing?

either way, i lurrrrrve listening to his demo's.

Troof. Kayzer and Excane are just about the only demos I routinely watch and if I played bass at all you'd probably be on that list too

I had the original Empress SuperDelay and eventually sold it. Although it was the right size, well built, had the perfect amount of features, and had the best reverse delay sounds, it was flawed in comparison to something like the Timeline. I think Empress are one of the best pedal companies around. Everything they make is extremely high in quality, sonically and physically. But the SuperDelay disappointed me. As did the Pigtronix Echolution—I lost so much money on that one.

HOWEVER!! I really am impressed with this single delay. It sounds like it's a little more affected than the SuperDelay's tape simulation mode, which was basically no different than their other standard modes. There are only half a dozen tap-tempo delay pedals with extensive features and extended delay range that fit onto tight boards and tight pockets. The Diamond ML Jr and Cusack Tap-a-Delay are a couple that come to mind. So it's definitely competitive, arguably even more so than the SuperDelay, which is beginning to show signs of age.

I found it at a local mom n' pop music store, only one they had but they're still out there both new and on eBay. It's the Fender Antigua Telecaster Factory Special Run (FSR), only #180 released in the States sometime last year. It's MIM and they normally go for around $600-$700 but I got mine with a Fender Black Tweed hardshell case for $549.

Gonna take the money I saved and dump it into some Bare Knuckles, probably the only upgrade I'll end up doing.

What kinda bridge for what kinda guitar? Interested to hear what you think of it, never tried one myself. Getting a Schaller Roller Bridge plus Bigsby on my EGC, looks nice, hoping that one works out....
