So we found out a couple of things with our visit to the speaker repair guy. A 12 inch celestion in need of a total re cone- estimate is $65. Tony's 18 is fully functional. So the cab is rattling. After we got back to my place, we think we found the join that came unglued and I used a big syringe to get some diluted titebond in there and hopefully that will fix it. Unfortunately, I have no clamps big enough to fit around that thing so gravity will have to help us out.
The guy was really cool, we had a long conversation about sensurround cabs and a bunch of other shit. Interesting guy who's very into audio stuff.

All those Sensurround posts were awesome. Somebody NEEDS to bring those onto a stage in a bass rig. Super doom.

Snazzy. I'm always on the look out for an AOR30 head. One magical day I will find one when I also have money.

Not much to add, just this pic of the new lights in my record shelf:

That's a really cool idea. Quite the collection you have. I have a 2x2 shelf like that, but only one cube has records in it...

If you dont get it, let me know, I'd rather buy one than build one, especially if the price is right.

Woah, they must sound pretty damn cutting, especially the blade. Ceramic magnets at that high output are going to cook. Fuck yeah.

Now to decide how I will handle switching. Thinking I can replace the normal gibson toggle with a 6 way rotary control for that.

That's brilliant what six positions would you wire in? Bridge / Both series / Both Parallel / Neck / coil tap bridge / coil tap neck? or maybe something like Bridge Series / Bridge Parallel / Both Series / Both Parallel / Neck Series / Neck Parallel?
