Never heard one, but when i was doing research to potentially buy a new Orange, I found out they were Chinese made, which bummed me out.

Was looking at one in a shop the other day. Looks like you can run it on an array of different ouptut tubes and it's got a switch to go between the different tubes (I suppose to change the voltages)
I've never played one or heard anything about them though, just thought it was neat that you could change power tubes like that with the flick of a switch
The one I was looking at was loaded with 6550's, but you could use KT88's, or 6L6's, and I think one other type of tube as well
EDIT: totally thinking of the Rockerverb. DOH

you sure that was the TH100, Skully? IIRC that amp didn't have the DIVO system in it.

Well that kinda sucks. I thought it might be closer to the 200 watt version. Had a deal on a red knob model t but the guy changed his mind after I got the money up. I wanna get an amp before I have to give this grand back to my wife. Talked her into letting me borrow it until my 2204 sells. Wanna grab an amp before she changes her mind too.

The th100 has a switch to go in half power to go from 100 all the way to 30 watts or something like that. 4 different output modes I believe.

Thanks for posting those clips, Nick. I will take a listen when I'm not holding a sleeping baby.
Conk - that TH100 is interesting. Not like an orange but still has its place. The TH amps are supposed to be extensions of the Dark Terror which was heavier tighter and more aggressive than any other amp I've owned. Had some nice low gain and clean sounds but you could tell it wasn't happy doing them. The TH amps are supposed to have really good cleans and that take pedals well. But, if it was me I would pass since I know it's not really the kind of amp you are wanting.

I liked the Dark Terror's heavier tones. Sounded really good. I'm looking for an amp that has a shitload of low end that doesn't fart out and takes pedals well. Something with enough headroom that I can use my Revelation stacked with other dirt and looper without it compressing into a big gelatinous turdpile. I suppose I could try a set of power tubes that break up later though. Right now the ones I have in it according to dougstubes are set to break up at an earlier to medium level. Dunno how much difference if any it would make but in my first Redbear I had lower gain preamp tubes and a set of power tubes set for late distortion and it stayed clean until pretty much the pre and master were set to 10.

I'll post a pic of my pedalboard later today when I get home. We've diverged a little bit.
Sorry I was halfway pissed when I dropped in here last time. I ended my night with a couple of female coworkers laughing about having alone time with their buttholes. I guess I left my mind in the gutter, I just assumed if you we're talking about foot jobs, there was a fair chance you weere half cut and in suss mode as well.
But good on you for being up early. I had to go to work the next day. Awesomely enough, hangover was well within tolerable range.
