I'm starting to lament living in a Circle K town.

If you read up on the history of the slurpy you'll see they are icees, made by icee for 7-11 just in different flavors.

I like the yogurt but if you add it to a Slurpee its just like a really good Italian Soda Breve Style...

It's ok. I'm pretty sure I've never actually had a slurpee.

About twice a year I'm persuaded by a buddy to get a slurpee. It's always decent for the first few inches, but by the time you're really getting down to it I always regret it.
Now I just get a cheap beer or two or five. At least then I enjoy my regret more.

Wading in on a British perspective here - is a Slurpee essentially a Slush Puppie?
Also, there was a 'street food' van doing Sno Cones as a novelty thing here for £2.50 a pop and if it's just cordial poured over flaked ice then you guys are getting ripped off.

Holy crap I haven't had a Slush Puppy since I was tiny and lived in the southeast US. I don't even remember them that well.
As for the Sno Cones thing, they're GREAT when done right, but they're robbing you at those prices unless they're HUGE.

This is our local Sno Cone place on an average afternoon. Worth the wait.

The Slush Puppy dog is the cutest of all crushed ice beverage mascots.
applelicious apple doesn't sound so hot though, flavor-wise.
