The new record will be finished and available later this week. Keep an eye out for it.

I've got a fun 2 parallel chain going. Chain one is a warbly clean sound that feedsback into infinity and chain 2 is a super compressed and distorted, and heavily gated synthy tone. The effect of this is that hard strums and big chords come out as clean echoes, but softer playing comes out as synthy goodness with a clean echo wash filling in the spectrum behind it
Chain 1 Clean Warbly Mess: GTR -> CB Warped Vinyl 100% wet -> CB Spectre -> Space Echo RE-150 with echo's max volume and near infinite Feedback -> Amp
Chain 2 Crazy Distortion: GTR -> Dirge Soda Meiser -> LAL Cyber Psychic -> Penny Pedals Digital Pulse -> Amp

Sure, I'll post some by tomorrow since I'm too lazy to unpack my suitcase from christmas travel and my ilok and production drive are in there.

bought this today for $30 (not my pic):
going to try adding a third playback head and turning into a tape echo. It only came with one takeup reel and a bit of tape on it, so in the meantime I cut together a loop and stuck some grolsch washers on the spindles to stop the tape from jumping out. Seems to be a children's story, circa early 60s:

Looks good. Without modifying it, you could send the master track of your DAW to the toe, record it on, and then record the sound of the tape back in your daw. Could give some interesting results

yeah, that's a definite option, except I didn't get any full reels of tape and it looks like it'll be a while until I find any 5" (7" is the more common variant but it's too big for this machine) tape for cheap. The way I'm planning on adding the third head will be without modifying the existing circuit though, so it'll still function normally when I want. I did record some vocal loops on the loop tape though, and managed to transfer it over to reaper via the rca amp out jack, into my receiver, then the headphone of that into my line-in capture. Once I open it up and figure things out I'm gonna swap it for a standard 1/4" line/speaker out for ease/simplicity.

Me and a mate were jamming with an acoustic and my cello the other day, and I've decided I def have to play cello more often. Gotta find a pickup and run it through fx though
