Yea, fuck no. I noticed on ebay back at the end of this year that after one sold for 3k or a bit more... due to it being in australia a slew of other people started listing theirs for around that.... and then relisting and relisting cause that's fucking stupid.

Truth. Saw Russian Circles recently in a pretty small venue and the bass was an experience unto itself. Really inspiring.
Saw Helms Alee in the same venue a couple weeks ago and I was in the restaurant/bar area when they started playing, and even over the bar music and the loud patrons, I knew the moment they started playing. I could feel the bass through all of it.
I agree that the sound clips aren't amazing, but being in the same room as one, you really see what the big deal is.

I

my Verellens. They've been solid since I've gotten both of them, and on top of it, you pretty much gain a friend in Ben.
When he was on TOUR he answered my tech questions. How many other builders would do that??

So those who wish for an Ampeg SS.... here ya go:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ampeg-SS140C-he ... _124wt_900
not the bestest of deals and it's local pick up. but ain't like they show up as often as they used to.
and an Ampeg VH
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ampeg-VH140C-MI ... _501wt_662
Though that's a retarded fucking price for that. but I have seen some people pay that for some damn reason. Death Metal reasons.

Are we looking at the same thing? Because $1050 for that is fucking bullshit.

Shipping might get into the $150 realm on that, but yeah. I'd thing $650 shipped would be more realistic. (as in the most I would possibly pay) That said, it's on ebay, and the Sunn effect applies. I would not be surprised if it sells.

I remember a few years ago with I bought my Sceptre on eBay for $400 shipped. Now they've doubled. It's crazy.

I think 1050 for the whole thing is pretty much going rate. I haven't seen a Beta Lead go for under 400 in years. Some even hitting 500.

150 really isn't outrageous for shipping a cab.

yea cause that's about the norm for any cab not coming from some company that has a contract with UPS.
