Brothers is the best name for a pedal. "Brothers don't shake hands, brothers gotta hug!"

I don't know why you'd be surprised. Much of the industry is driven by recycled ideas. I mentioned 20 Tube Screamers, but it's probably more like 80-200 active builders selling the TS. Are they not competing with Ibanez? You've probably got 20-40 Rats out there----are they worried about ProCo? Then you've got the Fuzz Face, Klons, CE-2 imitators, modified EA tremolos, MXR D+----are all those builders not competing with other established companies? Why would the Echoplex preamp be some flag in the sand, that no one is willing to challenge? Dunlop didn't even invent the circuit.

If that's the poor man's Procession, what is the Procession? EHX was doing flanged reverb about 14 years earlier.

Do you like those pedals (Chase Bliss) I don't have any yet but they have been teasing me for a while. I'm more than covered in the effects they have out now (not trem though, so Gravitas may be my first). I can rationalize the price (2nd hand will get you $50 off) but from what I heard I find the sound underwhelming to the UI. I may just be enticed by their interface (to me the knobs and what you can theoretically do is the gold standard for a stomp box).

I've kind of ditched the idea of synths lately (said this in another thread) just cause I fucking love pedals.
I've only had the Spectre but it was by far the best flanger pedal I'll ever own probably. I was too lazy to learn the dipswitches though and needed money for more euro so I sold it. Wouldn't hesitate to buy one of those again. Not sure about his other ones, I wouldn't hesitate to try them out though.

:whateva:

The lineage from the "Flerb" on the Holy Grail to the Procession is alot further away than the Procession to this ModVerb-pedal at least based on the specs(without any demos yet). Multiple modulation modes and "frozen functionality"?

The Mooer doesn't have tremolo though...?

The Procession was the pedal I had a few times this past year that I really wanted to love, and I came close. I just couldn't get over the flat voicing of the reverb. I love the hold function, and the trem on the reverb was absolutely stunning. That dang reverb just didn't do it for me.
