I have no idea what you mean about new pronouns. But I will not continue to debate this (unless you want to--work is not slow for me right now
). My reading for context in this situation had more to do with PV's previous talks about constellations of pronouns...not sure how superpowered burnouts would get different pronouns ('this,' 'she'). Maybe different proper nouns? Like 'Dr. Kush,' or 'Wastoid Man.'

Well mutants/etc. are usually referred to as 'they'? Right? Like that's the whole XMen thing is that they're not-so-secretly a catch all for people who don't fit cleanly into 'normal', I wasn't really thinking pronouns in the literal sense.

I meant different pronouns bc gender non-conforming and trans people sometimes use 'they' or other pronouns.
Buuuuut, there's definitely a connection here about the way gender non-conforming and trans people are often othered or dehumanized.
I'll pitch this show to my sister when i get to LA. Just need an in to the TV industry.

I have 2 or 3 episodes left. Here's an 80s reference I just picked up on in episode 6 or 7.
In the woods, the portal through the tree is just like the entrance to a gnome home from the early 80s fad Gnomes book.
I'm surprised none of the bullies has been caught reading a volume of Blanche Knott.

Huh, i own that Gnomes book and hadn't caught that. Thanks! I sort of just read it as a generic portal (I'm trying to remember what other media have had tree portals, now).

Watching season 2 right now. I was worried the show might lose its charm. Everything feels good so far.
