Bacon jam?
I made spaghetti carbonara the other day and it was super bad ass.
Pasta is so easy.

Pretty sure coconut oil has Medium Chain Triglycerides that are really good for your brain and energy.
Saturday my dad and I are working on cleaning out the freezer for hunting season, so it is venison jerky and meat stick making time!
My "secret" is that instead of just plain water for the cure mix, I blend jalapenos to a fine mince size, and use the green water in the cure mix, and mix the jalapenos in to the ground meat. That ensures you get pepper flavor in every bite and not just when you chomp on one. It came from me not wanting to mince 5-10 pounds of peppers by hand!

Coconut oil has trans fats though.
And no they aren't good because they are natural they are just trans fats like all other trans fats.

Yesterday I mady Bliny with sour cream, caviar, dill and pink pepper.
What an awesome dinner! Also a big glass of caipirinha to go along.
(OK, tbh bliny are just pancakes. )

I am lazy as fuck and a really picky eater so I barely cook. I mostly eat snack foods or go out for something cheap and convenient (usually not fast food, but not far from it). But I appreciate this thread, I'll have to dig through here and get out of my comfort zone some day.

I've mostly been eating fruit the last few days because I don't feel up to cooking.
But I put a PBJ + banana sandwich in my George Foreman earlier and it was awesome.

I imagined you putting that sandwich into George Foreman's severed head that's mounted on your kitchen top

Sometimes I cobble this breakfast together at the work cafeteria: toast, PB, banana, bacon.

This thread needs more pics. Here are some of my go-to dishes:
Homemade pasta with a slow-cooked meat sauce based on tomato (chopped and puré), white wine, beef stock, garlic, onion, carrots, thyme, basil and minced beef. Baguette with garlic butter from fresh cream, garlic (duh), chives, a few drops of lemon juice and salt.
Spring rolls in the making, with too many damn ingredients to mention. I always make big batches and fill my freezer up with them bitches. So good for lazy days.
Amazing french recipe for boeuf bourguignon that I got from a friend.
Pizza cooked on stone. Gotta love pizza.
Wok with chicken, chili and peanut butter.
Grilled duck breast with parsnip mash, pickled red onion and sugarpeas
Beef souvlaki with tzatziki
Breakfast of champions.
Quesedillas with salsa, sour cream and guacamole
Carrot and jams soup with avocado
Tomato soup
And because I'm a cake dude. Dark chocolate cake with espresso topping and cream cheese filling
A lighter chocolate cake and a raspberry cheesecake for a family members bday
Smarties cupcake (for you UK heads)
Strawberry cheesecake cupcake w/ white chocolate filling and cream cheese frosting
Giga chocolate-chip muffin, because fuck you, thats why
Im out!

I'll accumulate some pics over the next week and then I'll take that as a challenge.
Today's dinner was roast salmon with fennel seed and anis, side dishes: grilled and caramelized parsnip and fennel, as well as mangold (is that really the name?).
Delicious
I hate to cook stuff too often, usually I will make up my mind along the day and then either go shopping or go with what I have. But I don't normally use recipes. Sometimes I try to recreate stuff I have eaten in a restaurant, but usually it turns out way different. That was the case of the grilled and caramelized parsnip and fennel. I still have no idea what the dudes at the restaurant have done to the parsnip…
