I have a couple of suggestions on how to make doom better

first of all, dress like these guys:







and second, take some cues from those "epic metal" bands and incorporate some majestic choruses about slaying dragons and shit into your songs

I just tried to post about Moss and erased it accidentally. basically, they're bored with doom, too. that's why they only play a couple shows a year. and the new album is apparently faster.

I played the bass part of "Dragonaut" on melodica today.
It was heavy, let me tell you.

ima have to try "Iron Man" on my melodica. someday i have to try to find a good way to amplify it.

I've been using contact mics, which sound fine but feedback way too easily.
Maybe one of those clip-on mics, like for saxophones, but I dunno...through any kind of dirt it would probably still be feedback city.
Times are tough for the fuzzy melodica.
