lol
lol. yahp. and if i wasn't ordering a custom build, i'd have stayed away. anything else of his i'm interested in, i would wait until i could find a retailer like Prymaxe that carries them.blindrabbit wrote:Mr. Black has the same policy up on his website, FYI.behndy wrote: i disagree with it, and if i saw that on a site i would not order from someone.
That's a very valid point, but if someone is out there with a shady returns policy (imho), these threads should be left open so people will be made aware if they do a bit of research before. You've highlighted your issues with the pedal, the exchange of emails, and the eventual resolution. If you'd failed to notify us of the eventual resolution then yes, it should be archived, but in it's current state I would think it's a perfectly valid thread to remain out there for all to see. If this guy is as great as other folks seem to think he is, this thread will be buried under a pile of more positive ones.behndy wrote:i think he still has that up.
that.... i disagree with it, and if i saw that on a site i would not order from someone. but that's his prerogative. it's his business. personally, i think it's a bad choice. but who cares? the way i express that is by not purchasing stuff from a builder that does that. as long as i know going in that's his policy, then it's an honest situation.
i am SO not trying to tell someone how to run their business. if someone asked, i would give them advice. if someone were selling something i was interested i might ask why they have that policy and then tell them why that's off-putting. but he runs his business how he wants to. with how much self-employed owners get fucked on taxes and licenses and all, one of the few steadfast perks of owning your own business is doing things your way.
ugh. should be asleep. DISCONNECTED RAMBLES ENSUE.
